Neocutis Neo-cleanse Exfoliating Skin Cleanser, 4-Ounce

I have been using this face wash for over a month now. I thought this is the right time to write a review because I can give my honest opinion now. I have acne and acne spots on my face. These dark spots refuse to go. Although, Neocleanse did not completely help me get rid of the spots, they did lighten to some extent. Washing the face with this makes you feel like you just cleaned every speck of dirt and oil from your face. I did feel clean with it; however the skin near my eyes burnt after a few days. It is the most sensitive skin on my face and it got burnt marks and began itching each time I used warm water on my face. That is when I realized that the wash is not for sensitive skin and too much use of it could damage my face. I love how the facewash feels on other parts of my face but I can't use too much of it. Earlier, I was using it once a day, now I have reduced the use to once a week.

This cleanser was first recommended to me by my dermatologist and available from her office, but it was much cheaper on Amazon! I was skeptical at first, especially because the cleaner is a clear gel that felt so mild on my skin, but it has totally changed the texture of my skin to very smooth and even after prolonged use. I could also tell a difference after only a few days of using this face wash consistently (I wash once a day in the morning in the shower). I have continued to purchase and use this cleanser for years!

I have been using this for 4 years on the recommendation of my dermatologist and it has been a great way to keep my skin clean, exfoliated and healthy. I only use it at night and then in the morning use and lukewarm washcloth to wipe my face because I have Rosacea so over washing my face its good and will cause irritation. Even though its exfoliating I have had no issues with breaking out.

I am starting to really love this product. If you are like me and were using MD Forte cleanser (now discontinued) for 10+ years at the recommendation of your dermatologist, then you will not be disappointed. It has slight odd smell, not bad, just different. It is a medium thickness clear gel and does not lather. I have combination skin, oily around the mouth and have struggled with acne from the age of 11 to 29, now with hormonal acne mostly around the mouth and chin. I could see how this could be a little drying for some, but you can always alternate days or rinse it quicker. I was initally looking for a product similar to MD Forte, and chose this one because of the reviews and brand. The same dermatologist that started me on MD Forte also sold Neocutis and I have been using their eye cream, skin cream, and day cream for approx. 5 years and love them. Overall, I think it is a good substitute for MD. Also, a LOT cheaper, which is strange considering how expensive the other Neocutis products are. I am very pleased, for now :)

So far i like this face wash. It does't irritate at all. Its a jelly like texture which is different and not my preference, but i my skin seems to be responding to it nicely. It cleans well and it doesn't leave a film. Nothing super fancy, but i do like it.

This is my go to cleanser. My aesthetician recommended it. Great product line. The cleanser keeps my skin in great shape between facials. I do use a different product immediately after facials. But this is my regular cleanser.

Love this product! Makes your skin soft and tightens it up! I first bought it from a Spa where I had some facial treatments and loved it. Thought I'd check around for a better price and found it here. It can burn a little if your skin is not use to it but that subsides after a few treatments. It only takes a little pea size to do your face, so don't waste it! You won't be disappointed. Cleared up my small bouts of acne. They also make a sunscreen with a little tint that is nice for a "no makeup day".
