I received my bowl in excellent condition. There's no damage. (See photos for confirmation) The lid twists of and on easily. The inside is insulated to retain temperatures. It retains both hot and cold temperatures.This does not appear to microwave, dishwasher, or oven safe. There's no markings to indicate it's either and the metal prevents it from being microwave safe. The plastic is definitely not oven safe. It might be dishwasher safe but I'm avoiding it at this time.I'm reviewing this for what it is designed to do. This is a good thermos. It holds enough food to store a casserole. It does keep hot things hot and cold things cold. It's aesthetically pleasing with attractive colors. This would be nice to present food to guests in. The lid does not appear to be airtight. I would take caution while transporting to ensure it doesn't topple and spill. The best application for this seems to be serving guests at home. Keeps your food either warm, hot or cold as needed.

I got the set of three sizes and really like them. I made meatballs for a potluck and the large bowl was the perfect size and kept the product warm. You do have to keep the lid on though to keep the food warm. The other smaller bowls will work great for dips or soup. The only down side is they are not dishwasher safe, so you must wash them by hand, but I think they are a great deal and would recommend if you travel to parties or family gathering with food.

I used the largest piece today for an office potluck. I cooked 4 regular cans of green beans in my crockpot. Filled the casserole with hot water and let it stand for 5 minutes. Dumped the water and filled with cooked beans. We ate lunch about 2 hours after I arrived at work and they were still hot. Worked just like I had hoped, totally recommend. I was concerned about the capacity of this largest container and truthfully I could have cooked 6 cans and it would have held them all. Don’t hesitate to get this, it’s great. One warning, do not immerse or wash in the dishwasher. I just filled with hot water and dish soap and washed and dried it.

I bought this to pack hot lunches for work. I've used the medium sized container now every day for a week.Pros: good size, larger than any other insulated food jar or container I could find, but not too large, perfect for a regular adult meal. Bowl shape allows me to pack casseroles, rice dishes, etc without having to squash it or mix it all up like with the upright insulated containers.Cons: food isn't kept hot up to 6 hours as stated on the package and ad. I fill the container with hot water for 15 minutes before adding steaming hot food. I also wrap the whole thing in 2 layers of aluminum foil. After 4 to 5 hours, the food is still warm and edible without really needing reheating, but definitely not hot. I would't recommend this for foods that have a high risk of spoiling at warm to Luke warm temperatures, but it seems ok for foods that you can heat up to steaming temp first. Also, the bowls are really light and the lid turns only an inch or so into a notch to close. It doesn't screw on like other insulated containers so that's maybe why it isn't so well insulated. It also makes the bowls NOT leak proof, so it must be kept upright to avoid spilling.I'll be keeping this to use for lunch, but I'll still keep an eye out for a better insulated bowl.

This set of bowls arrived with all the parts. Noticed few precautions with washing and they are not microwave recommended.The bowls appear to be of good quality.

I saw a friend using these while making a large multi-person breakfast at an RV camp out.They were keeping pancakes, eggs and bacon warm with them.I immediately ordered a set and have used them a lot. At home, I use an electric kettle to heat water then use that water to preheat the bowls before I put food in them.

We bought these to take food to our family so the meal could arrive hot. They work really well. I pour boiling water in them before adding the food so the container is hot. I then add the food and put the lid on. The food is very hot even after an hour of travel, and stays hot for at least 2 hours more. We are very happy with our purchase.
