Local box stores maxed out at 30" and I needed a bit more than that. This did the trick!

Does the job. Doesn't leak.
I couldn't find connectors with the connector sizes I needed at my local stores, so ordered here instead. Fits fine. Easy to install and doesn't leak (in spite of my plumbing abilities, which are mediocre at best).

Not as advertised
The 1/2 in compression fitting is something else. It does not match a 1/2" compression fitting spec. Nor will it physically connect or thread on to any compression fitting of any size. I took a risk on this. Needed it in place but now can't return.

Works but not as advertised
One coupling on each end however both are diff sizes. Did not match description but I went and bought attachments and it works just fine. Threads are short so not a lot of bite so I took pliers and really cranked the attachments on.

Both end 1/2 female connection?
I need 1/2 female connection both ends but got this (see attached pics).

One side 1/2, the other side 3/8

One ene is compression the other fip
They appeared to be quality hoses, I personally ordered the incorrect ones. I needed 2 fip ends and got 1 fip 1 compression. My fault. Installed same brand/correct ones and they don't leak so that's all you could ask for. The rubber seals are soft and thick unlike others iv purchased I used them on an electric hot water heater installation.

1/2” but
Yes the hose might be 1/2” but the couplers at each end are choked down to 1/4”. Buy 3/4 to get a true 1/2”
