I searched for a slouchy hat and it really is slouchy. I don't mind it so much, but there is some hang time in the back. It's very warm and cute when on my head with my long hair hanging beneath.

This hat is just what I was looking for- very soft, for the "chemo" head. Nice color, nice fabric, shape is great.

I love it, it’s thicker than average, comfy, lovely and so warm. At times I forget I’m wearing it, I just love it.l. I have several now in different colors and love the quality as well. You cannot tell the difference from hat to hat if it were not for the colors, they are exceptional, the quality is far and above their competition.,, I only hope it is re-purposed cashmere as it was written in description, it would break my heart if that were a lie. If it were Amazon would make them take it down immediately, so check before you buy, or else another cashmere goat is freezing to death because they are being over groomed in the winter, it’s screwed up.I’m just as guilty, sorry. Too tight of a fit to be able to get slouchy look. I have a medium size head. Fits more like a beanie.

This is not a thick, Arctic-type hat--it's warm, but not like a Mukluk.I have a big head (7 5/8) and a lot of hair, and this beanie stretches to a nice, not-tight fit. When off, it has about a 21" diameter.In the photo the bottom edge lies flat: In person it has a slight curl--which I think looks good. The beanie is 11" deep: If I pull it down all the way, it completely covers my head all the way to the bottom of my chin.This is the best-looking beanie I have seen (since I lost my very fine old one)--even though it is made in China. I like the complete absence of ribbing or cabling and I love the way it's shape is achieved entirely by the way it's knitted. To me, some of the ones that are sewn to create the dome make it look like the hat's covering up little fox ears. Not that I have anything against foxes.I like the hat to be less slouchy on the back of the head (to fit like a cloche, close to the skull) and I don't want to fold it over to make a cuff. If you just fold it on the back of the neck, however, it creates a cloche-like silhouette. You can wear it different ways.It's really soft and the turquoise color is wonderful. I wish they had more colors in stock--I'd buy another.

Having to wear beanies for the past 10 months I’ve collected some of different shapes and materials. The purple beanie is a nice color and the cashmere is soft and warm. It’s not as slouchy as others I have, and the bottom edge tends to roll up which I find annoying. Not my go-to, because of this.
