This lovely 20th Century banknote of India was issued in the 1970's-80's. It displays the endangered Bengal Tiger in all its majesty. It also features the pillar of Asoka (wise and just ancient Indian King) with 3 lions TWICE, once in the watermark. 100% uncirculated condition with 2 typical pinholes hidden in right border frame, the latter due to the Indian banking custom of stapling a bundle of 100 notes together. Would grade Gem without the 2 tiny holes. One of the most sought after wild animal themed bills! Tomorrow's rarity today!
