RADACutlery Slicer Knife, Black Handle

Rada knives are made in the USA and this is a fantastic example of their products. I don't buy any kitchen knives that aren't Rada any more. Sure, there are probably some brands that are fancier "chef" level or whatever, but Rada's quality is awesome and the price is very good. Recommended. Get one of their sharpeners too - very easy to use and effective.

Have been using Rada knives for a decade. The paring knives and this kitchen knife fill every need in kitchen prep. So glad they have changed to the black handle, because the stainless steel one would discolor in the dishwasher. They are light and very sharp.

Love the rada brand of knives. Can't wait to cut something. It came a little dull which is good because you don't want to cut yourself taking it out of the package. About 10 swipes through a rada sharpener and it was razor sharp. Great purchase.

We even take these knives with us when we travel when it is possible to do so. Love all of the various knives and other things we have, especially the knife sharpener, vegetable peeler, and of course...the knives themselves.

The steel is very easy to sharpen. Almost any thing can force an edge on this knife.The blade thickness is 1mm and has a concave grind, all these characteristics makes this knife extremely good at cutting into things.Although the steel can be a bit soft but the cutting action/feedback excels even some of the most expensive knives.

Works like a dream. Docked a star for the thin handle but the blade is great

not as sturdy a knife as i thought it would be for a Rada knife . Will do the job though
