54Watt Led Corn cob Light Bulb E26/E39 Base,5000K Daylight 110-277v, Led Replacement 200w Metal Halide HID HPS for Street Area Light Acorn shoebox Fixture Warehouse Post Top High Bay Garage Light

I used this bulb to replace a mercury vapor that was probably pulling gobs and gobs of power !! Not only it it just as bright as the 400 watt bulb , it’s only using 54 watts !!!

I liked the energy efficiency of the bulbs and the compactness for the amount of lumens it has. I am converting a 40 x 60 garage from 250 W. mercury vapor lighting to these LED corn bulbs.

My 100 watt metal halide dusk to dawn light was failing. All of the led dusk to dawn lights I found only directed the light straight down. I decided to rewire my existing fixture and try this 54 watt cob LED. The fixture rewire is simple and there is a tutorial video on YouTube. The cob LED is great. It was an excellent choice for replacing my old metal halide bulb. It throws light in every direction and is as bright as the old 100 watt bulb. I can't speak for it's longevity yet but am very impressed with the amount of light.

I installed these I know a parking lot for a customer. Every week it seems one or two quit working! Now I’m stuck replacing them on my dime!
