unsure what metal clip is for but worked for my exhaust pipe
holes could be slightly larger diameter but otherwise very good part, installed easily once I drilled out the hole to be bigger.

Exactly as described
Worked exactly as expected. The metal at the bottom is fairly easy to bend, so I made sure the clamp was right on the tailpipe. I’m not sure how long the rivet will last before rusting through, but typically with these types of hangers the rubber wears out from vibrations and stress first.They last a long time, I installed it on a 1964 pickup.

its an exhaust strap
this strap did strappy things, it strapped my exhaust up just as a strap should. I've never seen a strap do strap work like this strap.

Flimsy thin rubber
Not very impressed. The rubber is pretty flimsy, I was expecting it to be twice as thick. This will work but isn't as stiff or durable as I'd hoped it would be. Also the rubber seems dry which may lead it dry rot out in a short about of time.

Nice exhaust hanger for the price.
Hanger is built very well ( it's a Walker ). Holes for adjustment are spaced well enough apart so you can find your best location. The strap is very rugged and should last for a very long time. Can't beat the price. Heavy duty 1/4" rivet holds strap to metal hanging hook .

Didn’t fit my vehicle
This looks like it would be a good replacement for a broken hanger, however, check the size of your vehicles anchors. The holes in this product were too small to fit mine- I tried drilling them out but, I more burned it than anything.
