Children's Book : Spy Dogs (1): A Suspicious Neighbor by Amma Lee is a cute story about a pug that trying to help solve a mystery and almost gets in trouble himself. His new neighbors are weird and suspicious and dogs are missing. So Puggy goes investigating. That's when the craziness begins. Lots of action, suspense, and fun. It is a cliff hanger so be aware of that. It is a fantasy/sci-fi, which I read mostly, but this didn't even try to ring true for even that, it was just silly and maybe it was suppose to be that way? I enjoyed most of it, I felt it needed editing. It was an ok read, kids might enjoy it better.

wow what a story! I found it was quite a fast paced page turner of wondering what could happen next! I therefore am going to give this five stars and recommend it for kids of all ages! I received this ebook for free and in return, here is my honest review. Great job Amma! By Angela

This book captured the interest of an eleven year old slow reader by the end of the first chapter, a hit as far as I'm concerned. We're looking forward to reading the next two books in the series :)

Im sure its a good little book, my stepson seems to dive right into it. Its just sooooooo short, especially for the price. I should of looked up how many pages it has. It was too thin to be considered a gift.

This book has a lot if action and it has things that are fiction and nonfiction. It also is very loving that puggy is trying to save his friends while protecting Bob and Manny at the same time.

I have never before posted a review on Amazon, however I simply could not ignore my feelings about this book. This is genuinely one of the worst pieces of literature I have ever read. I have been reading this with my 7 year old son and not only are we both disappointed with the uneventful storyline and bland, one dimensional characters, but the book itself is just incredibly badly written. I found myself having to reword sections as I was reading it out loud as in a lot of instances the existing sentences just don't make any sense! There are also whole paragraphs repeated in the text and the very basic sentence structure made me research the author to see if she is a child; it seems she is an adult and actually receives money for this very poor excuse for a novella. Whilst it is not an expensive book, I was initially annoyed at how thin it is for the price. Upon reading it however, I soon became glad that we would finish it quickly so we could move on to some proper literature!
