Genuine Top Grain Brown Leather Casual Checkbook Cover

This feels more like a plastic based product than what is billed as “Genuine Top Grain Brown Leather”. It has an odd overly smooth and shiny finish. Which would be fine if that’s how it was described and priced accordingly. But it does smell like real leather. Bottom line...Will be sending this back and look for something that leaves no doubt about the source of the actual material utilized.

The leather seems kind of plastic! I would not buy it again! I wanted a luxury leather checkbook cover that felt like soft leather.
