Weaver Leather Brahma Webb Goat Collar, Nickel Plated Chain

We bought these collars and were at first pleased with them, however we have had two goats died in the last several months being strangled by them. The lengths were adjusted appropriately and we had these on all goats in our herd. Typically we have had these collars break loose when snagged on something which was something we felt confident in considering it would prevent accidents. Within the last two months, two our goats, both a Nubian in milk and a yearling Alpine, were strangled to death with these around their snouts. We will not be utilizing this in the future, and have removed all the remaining collars off those left in our herd. Extremely displeased at the financial loss we incurred as well as for the animals themselves.

These are holding up well after a couple years. They make fabulous goat show collars. The leather is comfortable to hold, the clips have held up well.

Bought more of these for our 4-H goats and still loving them! They hold up well and look great in the ring.

I purchased 2 of these for our 4H club kids. They seem to be good quality especially for the price. The girls worked with their goats every night for 2 weeks (after months on halters and flat collars) they show no signs of any wear.

The metal on the hooks is made out of some cheep metal that deteriorates . I’ve already had to through one away. And you know goats don’t like getting wet. So take it as you may.

Got three for my Nigerian Dwarf goaties. I keep them on as their permanent collar. Really like them, will continue to use these.

Well, it's fine but not what I ordered. I got the black chain with black plastic version instead of the formal leather show lead. I'll review again if I try again. If I had ordered the black practice lead it would get 5 stars.

Great quality leather and chain . Can’t wait to put it on my nanny . I will definitely be buying more for my other girls .
