Very impressed
I may be jumping the gun here as it is only day one with these pens. I have to say they really are smooth as silk which makes them a real bargain.I wanted cheap pens to use different colour inks for official paperwork. Was not expecting much for the price but they really write well! They even manage to look and feel expensive. No idea how these can be sold for little over £2.50 each.Perhaps they fall apart on day two but there is absolutely no sign that they will.Very impressed unless I follow this up with a less flattering update!!!Edit : after a few days had the leaking ink problem. I don't think it is the pen but cheap cartridges becoming too loose in the pen. Have put the supplied filler back instead of the cartridge and all seems fine again.so still impressed but might be better to try better quality cartridges or stick to bottled ink.

STUNNING
These pens are amazing, they write like a dream. The nib is medium which is perfect for me. They really do write incredibly smooth.IMO, 3 of the pens are beautiful looking, the orange & black crackle one is, like another reviewer wrote, rather ugly, but despite that, it will still write beautifully, so can’t knock it for that really.... it will just be the ugly duckling of the set, but will be a swan for writing with Lol.The price is quite literally out of this world..... so cheap for something of such stunning craftsmanship..... it’s almost like you should stock up on these quick before someone realises they’re seriously underpriced. They also came in a nice pouch which was great, as I brought these pens for Christmas gifts.I will be buying more of these beautiful pens 👍🏻

Great value for money
Good quality pens, especially for the price. These are Jinhao 250 pens, which means they have a fattish barrel and they feel solid - maybe a little on the heavy side, but very pleasant to write with. It feels very similar to the Jinhao 450, but where the 450 has a fairly 'wet' ink flow, the 250s are a little dryer. I have a small hand and I find the balance better for writing if I don't post the cap. I imagine they'd balance well for a man-size hand with the cap posted. The black and orange 'fire' design is a bit gaudy, but the black, the silver and the deep red all look much more expensive than they are. All the pens come with a screw mechanuism ink reservoire, though you can use them with a cartridge if you prefer. I use them with bottled ink. I find they are no trouble at all if you soak the nib in warm water before filling for the first time (and pull some through the ink reservoire a couple of times) to disperse any lingering oils from the manufacturing process. These are excellent value.

Beautiful and inexpensive
These pens are beautifully designed both aesthetically and ergonomically: I would say a lot of thought has gone into things like balance and weight-distribution. The price is incredible: they look and feel like pens costing five times as much and they come with felt pouches and a leather pouch to put your favourite pen in.Cartridges: for the uninitiated, remove the ink converter and put the narrow end of the cartridge into the grip. Place on a solid, level but not too hard surface (something like a note-pad or paper-stack) and push very hard but slowly until you hear a click. Then re-assemble.To get ink to flow, leave the pen with the nib pointing downwards (e.g. in a desk-tidy) for about twenty minutes. Do not squeeze the cartridge!

Amazing quality and value.
How they can sell quality items like these pens at this price completely puzzles me, but I am glad that they do!They are very good looking, lacquered brass with alloy nib sections, fine and medium nibs, solidly built and really good pocket clips, well balanced, and they write from the go every time. They also have a converter supplied in each one which can be used or replaced with cartridges.I am using Diamine Sargasso Sea Ink in one of mine, and it writes really well, and is very well balanced and comfortable to hold for long periods.

Very good fountain pens!
Been looking into changing to fountains pens for a while. After finding this I thought this would be a great bargain and was right. Love the design of these four and YES you get all FOUR fountain pens. Each pen comes with a felt like sleeve to hold the pen. The pens themselves are stylish, do not look cheap clearly, good manufacturing and build. All pens are easy to open each come with an ink refill component. I easily detached these and used cartridges which fit. Gave the cartridges a little gentle squeeze to make the ink flow and the pen works just fine! Haven't had any issues when writing as the pens are a good weight and feel comfortable to hold. Sometimes have to do a little scribble to get the ink going but I don't know if that's an issue with the pen or cartridge that's why I've not given 5 stars.

Highly recommended
After reading positive reviews on Jinhao pens, I thought it was worth a try. Usually writing with well known brands, I secretly expected to be disappointed, but... far to the opposite! I am delighted with their balanced weight, nice grip, and ease of writing. Already now topping as my favourite pens! Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money
For the price I cannot fault these pens -- a nice weight in the hand, reasonable-quality fine nibs (they're just a little scratchy) and three beautiful barrels -- the orange crackle one is rather uglier than the picture appears. But they write well and feel good in the hand so an easy 4/5.
