Rajun Cajun Etouffee Sauce, 16 Ounce

This has a really good taste. As soon as I had it delivered, I made it for dinner and served it with rice. You just pour the jar in a pot, add a jar of water, and add chicken (which I used tenders). They were very tender!

Very good product. Someone did all the work for you to get the flavor just right. If you want some cajun food that's easy and good, this is it. I lived in LA for years and discovered it there.

I added alot of my own ingredients but over all it was good and would buy again

This product is horrible. The minute I stared cooking it, it smelled burnt. I tasted it before I added my crawfish and it was horrible and it smelled awful. A wate!

Great stuff! I love to cook Cajun. This is not too thin ... especially if you understand it needs to be served with rice. I cook Étouffée from scratch when I have the time because that is love. But I still get a lil’ luv from this jar. I sauté 1 onion, 4-6 celery ribs and 1 red/orange pepper in an instant pot approx 10 mins, then add the jar of sauce, some extra cayenne, arbol, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper ... stir... then 1-2 Lbs chicken (see below), with equal parts long grain rice and stock or water, then pressure cook in instant pot for 8-10 minutes with a slow pressure vent and viola! Thick delicious spicy and little sweet onion bliss will be had. Can also use half chicken with half shrimp, crawfish or logastino, but add seafood only after after the pressure cook vent, and let it sit in hot instant pot for 5-10 min until fully cooked.

earlier I wrote a not so good review about this company. NOT the product per say. the product is very good. However the last batch they sent me had a past best buy date. since I sent in the complaint the replaced the items right away.so this will supersede the previous review. I am very satisficed.

Cannot rate as the jars were broken when received. Wish to try order again soon.
