Duvet looks lovely but shocked that it did not include pillow cases!! Considering the price!

Not happy.
I searched for a long time for bed linen with a 300 thread count. I washed it before I used it and have found all of the items stiff and uncomfortable. I have Sanderson’s bedding for years and it has improved with every wash, perhaps this will.

Lovely feeling duvet cover
Great fine materialed duvet cover - a little fussy in the pattern, but lovely feel.

Perfect!
A truly beautiful duvet cover with florals, butterflies and birds and on the reverse a ditsy delicate design. Poppers to fasten at the base. Good double size fit for my duvet. Nicely edged in green and well made. Lovely to have pure cotton and not polycotton. I would like to get the matching pillowcases and the bed cover. Really very pretty.Good quality that I would expect from Sanderson's.

upside down
Interesting. Other reviews suggest this duvet cover has poppers to close. Mine has buttons and the print is upside down: ie the buttons are at the top of the print so if the print is the right way up, the buttons are across the top of the bed. Not very happy, but bought this a while ago from Bedeck so probably too late to return it.

Beautiful print on high quality soft cotton fabric, but creases easily
This duvet cover has a gorgeous print on very high quality cotton fabric, finished beautifully. The pattern of flowers and hummingbirds is just as attractive as in the photo, and the colours are pretty without being too bright. There are plenty of options to match with other furnishings, shades of pink, blue and green as well as the obvious duck egg blue. The reverse has a print in duck egg blue, and the cover is edged along the sides and bottom with duck egg coloured piping, which gives it a nice finish - I am really glad the piping doesn't extend along the fourth side as it can be a little stiff. The cover fastens with poppers. The fabric has a nice crisp, 'dry' cotton feel to it, very smooth without being at all glossy. The 300 thread count cotton percale fabric feels high-quality and expensive. My only complaint is that it is a little too stiff, even after washing and tumble drying. It needed ironing, and even then it didn't look completely flat - and after being slept under, it looked decidedly crumpled. I am hoping the fabric will relax with use, and lose that creased appearance.Note that this is just the duvet cover, and pillow cases need to be bought separately, making it quite expensive - however you do get a very attractive cover that oozes quality.

richly decorated, with a distinctive pattern and a wonderful quality of cotton.
When you open this duvet you don't get that chemical smell that unusually hits your nose on cheap bedding sets, because this is not cheaply printed onto low cost material. This duvet set is made of very high quality cotton, much richer to the skin than standard duvets, in fact when you scrunch it up into your face it gives you a sense of being in a very expensive hotel. The density of the fabric is 'generous' meaning that not only do you have a warm duvet cover, but you have a cover that washes well and isn't ruined after its first wash. Just lying in bed under this duvet gives you a sense of real luxury and gives you a great start to a good nights sleep. Frankly, this is probably the quickest fix you can give your bedroom, and the most instant improvement to your bedtime experience. The piping around the edges of the duvet and the pillowcases is really neat and sets it apart from its environment.A typical Sanderson print - which if you have any experience of their fabrics or wallpaper it will not disappoint - of course, if you like duvets that are not quite as busy, then it isn't for you; but this is going to brighten your room and leave you a really good design on your bed.A richly decorated, high quality duvet cover with a distinctive pattern which will not disappoint.

Beautiful quality and a pleasure to sleep under
A magnificent duvet cover; really soft and feels beautiful against the skin. The quality of the percale is excellent and I had no problems with it going stiff after washing (although I do find that tumble drying rather than hanging to dry makes a big difference when it comes to softness generally, so I always tumble dry). The floral pattern is striking and bold. It looks good even in my rather messy bedroom, but it would look perfect in a really clean white Victoria-style bedroom. On the back there is a small pattern print which I really like the look of, to the extent that I would be happy to have it face up. There is elegant green piping around the edge of the duvet cover. The only small disappointment was that the duvet cover closes with little plastic poppers, rather than buttons. However, this is possibly a matter of taste.Do be aware that this is just a duvet cover; no pillow cases are included and you have to buy them separately (worth noting when many duvet covers come in sets with matching pillow covers).Beautiful quality and a pleasure to sleep under.
