Great little toy, I have given several of these as affordable but fun little Birthday presents.

Very impressed by these. Bought them for use in the garden during the summer and had a shot myself and was amazed at the quality of the viewfinder and magnification. Used with bugs and plantlife you get some amazing detail when used out in good light.They are well put together and the lanyard is a great help making sure they don't get left behind when out and about. The light is also handy although we've yet to put it to any real test in bad light. I can't believe these can be had for less than £5.A lovely little educational toy that would be great for curious minds during the summer months.

This entertained the adults as well as the children when the gift was unwrapped( testing it out and they were surprised it worked ) .I wanted to buy a microscope for a child interested in looking closer at insects. However, traditional styled microscopes would have been too complex for their age .Also I wanted them to be able to use it outdoors. After much searching I found this and it seems a good choice .We were surprised such a simple idea did magnify things well , you just have to teach the child where to put the things they want to see in more detail .

The grandkids loved this. They were outside for hours looking under logs and rocks, finding things to look at in detail. It's fascinating to see how intricate some little critters are. We did put them back uninjured, where we found them.

Light toy, easy to carry. Interesting, light switch not obvious so child wont turn it off and it can drain the battery. Good view of stuffs, interesting..

This is a good beginners microscope that could lead to bigger things and is sturdy enough to take into the field

The packaging is very gaudy and plasticky, as is the microscope itself. It does not inspire much confidence in its sturdiness or durability but was surprised to see that it did magnify quite well and was actually useful in several instances when pinprick-sized spots turned out to be tick nymphs.

This was loved by all and a definite winner for birthday present ideas! 3 year olds up to 70+ had a go and were all amazed at the level of detail seen on anything we tried it on including clothing and leaves! So easy to use and small enough to keep in hang as for emergency entertainment times!

The needle wouldn’t move, making this compass useless

I would like a replacement of this item as it is suppose to be a gift and was opened when received. Not happy.
