Tattoo Coloring Book: A Fantastic Selection of Exciting Imagery (Chartwell Coloring Books, 4)

There are some very nice traditional style tattoos in this book. Many of them are large, others are medium in size. This makes it nice if you simply want to color them. If you are a new to tattooing and are looking for designs (flash) buy this book because there are a lot of traditional style tattoo designs that are worth copying. The large designs can be reduced in size, the medium sized designs can also be reduced in size but would make nice upper arm, shoulder, leg and calf tattoos just as they are. Trace them, modify them, make them your own. Some of the designs have lines that are too intricate to outline as actual tattoos. If you are just going to color them then that won't matter. The pages are a bit thin but it's worth the modest price. If you plan to use these designs as actual tattoos the book will pay for itself over and over again.

This is a solid, and well put together coloring book, for a very reasonable price. The majority of the designs are great, and the paper is very high quality. Honestly the only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars, is that several of the "full page" tattoo designs, simply aren't worthy of being given an entire page. They should have been shrunk to half their size and put on a page with multiple other pieces of flash art instead. There's just not a lot of fun to be had in coloring in a lovely but simplistic Traditional Americana 'heart with dagger and banner' design that takes up a *whole* page. And it leaves you wondering if they simply didn't have enough pieces of art to properly fill up an entire book.

As someone who colors as a hobby, I would suggest this book for anyone who loves tattoos. Some of these drawings are so bad ass, that you may even want them as an actual tattoo. That's what my friend said, at least, when I gifted him this for his birthday.100% giftable, great value, and worth the money.

This is a great book of tattoos! I am really into this genre of coloring right now, and this books did not disappoint! It has every theme of tattoo, you can imagine, some take up the whole page, but many others, are a bit smaller, so there may be 3-4 on one page, with the same theme. Its just a fun book, some are easy, some are a little more intricate. The paper is nothing special, but ok, and I use a sharp edge knife to remove the pages and had no issues.

I loved this when it came in the designs are great and real easily to use as a stencil as well for beginners to just start off with. The lines in the book are bold like many of the traditional style tattoos and that is a basic to know and understand for people practicing line work. As for the coloring in the pictures my kids love it I make copies of the designs and let them color those in. I would highly recommend this product for anyone and every one the variety is just immense in this book and it is worth the couple bucks for it

My husband likes the skulls! He likes this book so so! He says the pages are too thin But he still loves the Tattoo designs! He said it's like going into a tattoo parlor and picking one off the wall except your coloring it

Received my copy of this today! It has a great selection of designs to color. I have bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder and coloring helps me to calm down and center myself when I'm feeling edgy. The paper seems to be of good stock and I can't wait to see how it holds up to my gel pens/markers/pencils. Of course I'll use a blotter underneath what I'm coloring so as to prevent bleed through.

Bought this for an adult gift and they loved it. Pages are thicker then the normal coloring books.
