Does have a bit of an edge on it.
These were an Easter present for my two daughters 5 and 7. The oldest loves to use hers youngest could take it or leave it. Always use supervised by an adult. They do have a bit of a sharpened blade so be cautious. Make sure you yourself knows how to properly use a knife before buying one for a child. I have a culinary degree and lots of kitchen experience.

Dull
I like the size, blunt tip, and overall market to a child. It just didn’t cone sharp. I understand safety, but if my daughter is to learn to cut vegetables, a sharp knife ifs the safer knife. I sharpened the blade and it does well now.
