There's a dial on the back to adjust the settings if they're not exact enough. Mine might have been perfect but I dropped it when I thought it caught the screw head and it didn't. Easy to read from a distance

if yours is consistently wrong by a couple degrees you can rotate the round middle section on the backside by a couple clicks and it will be correct from then on

It's 10 degrees off... Doesn't even show the right temperature

I saw this gem and ordered it for my husband. He likes to know the temp in the garage. I know but whatever makes him happy. Our first one arrived and loved the large numbers. Being seniors this was important to us. Unfortunately it did not work and sent it back. Received new one in days no questions asked. New one work great. I love this unit and highly recommend.

This consistantly runs about 4-5 degrees hotter than it should (going by 2 other thermometers in the same shaded location). I did read others complained about that, but some said it was good, so I got it because it looked very easy to read (and it is). The other thing on this model is the 40 degrees to 70 degrees is at the top of the thermometer, not way over on the right with the 10 degrees to 40 degrees at the top (those must be for folks living in really cold climates?) Why do they even put 120 to 140 degrees on these things? For people in the Gobi Desert or Death Valley? Those people already know it is hot as Hades and to the rest of us, having the ability to read temps at 130 or 140 degrees is not a selling point.Anyways, since I knew this was giving too high a reading, and before I did an Amazon exchange, I went online to see if they are adjustable and it turns out they are. The tough part on this model is getting the plastic cover off.Once you get the cover off (HA! Take your "patience" pill before trying to get the cover off.) if you want it to read lower, just turn the pointer counter-clockwise a little over one full turn, then release. See if it reads lower. Repeat if not til it is lower. If it reads to low, turn the pointer clockwise a little over one full revolution and release. Repeat until the temp shows as higher. The youtube video was helpful but super short because the fix is just so easy. The adjustment was shown on a similar thermometer in which the clear plastic cover just popped off. With this one, once you have the cover removed it is smooth sailing to adjust.

Nice and big and easy to read, but definitely not 100% accurate.

This hand held vacuum is excellent for our use. When the charging system failed the company was quick to honour the one year warranty and a replacement vacuum was shipped to us quickly. The lithium Battery is powerful, the recharge is quick and it lasts much longer than any battery operated units we had in the past.

Reasonably priced and you can read it from a distance.

Had to wall mount mirror

Not only is this thermometer accurate but you can see if from upstairs in the house. Really useful to know the temperature before coming downstairs. Of course, it will read too high once the sun shines on it.
