Nice, simple, small logbook.
I actually log my dives using Subsurface but want to bring a book with me to take notes just after my dives. This book, for me, is great! It's small and light so it doesn't take up much room and allows me to record pretty much everything I want to about my dives. The pages are "plasticy" so you need to let ink dry on them for a bit before you close the book or it could smudge on the opposite page. This was especially noticeable with the stamp that some dive shops have for printing their logo in your book.My plan is to use this book to record my dives and get my DM signatures but archive the dives from computer in subsurface (using notes in the book to update that program). When this book is used up, I plan on purchasing another one.

Great little dive log
So far so good. Like others have said, the best writing instrument to use is a fine point Sharpie pen. It works awesome. The pages have easy to read blocks for your dive information. Its waterproof and tear proof. I will be buying more.

Great Compact Dive Log Book!
This is a great small waterproof log book. I like the cover and inside format. My only wish is that there was a bit more space for recording fish that were seen and a dive company's stamp.

Ink does not dry on the waterproof pages
The only problem I have with this dive log is that ink does not want to dry on the pages. Forget using a felt tip or roller ball pen to write in this. The only thing we were able to make work was a Bic ballpoint pen, but even then the pages had to be shut with paper between them until they were completely dry to keep the ink from one entry smearing and smudging the opposite page. I don't know if a Sharpie would have worked better as I was on vacation and did not have access to one at the time. After we were finished our dives, the dive shop stamped each page of our books, and the ink from the stamps also spread from page to page so our logs look to be a right mess now. I will be buying a different dive log (with normal as opposed to waterproof pages) before my next dive.

I'm crushed that these are discontinued!
These were awesome log books. I went through three of them and then found out they are no longer available. They worked perfectly in all conditions with Bic Stic Pens (100 for $5). If anyone knows of a decent alternative, I'd love to hear about it!

Best dive log I have found yet!
This is my second one of these dive logs that I have purchased. I have yet to find any type of writing utensil that smears when writing in the rain or getting the log totally drenched while out on the boat. I’ve tried ink pens, gel pens, and markers, and they all work perfectly! Never will I use a dive log that is not waterproof again; I’m sick of losing recorded dives due to water damage. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Love it!!!!
By far the best dive log!!! It's small (as big as I expected) but enough room for what I needed to write. I used a Staedtler Permanent marker (Fine) and it worked like a charm!! The price is perfect and delivery was fast! I did cut a piece of very thin cardboard to fit inside to use when writing because the pages do bend. All the divers in my group had Dive Log envy!!!
