I positioned an 8 port POE switch centrally to my camera array. Plug in the camera and it powers up instantly. Go to the NVR, register the camera and assign an IP, wait for the camera to reboot and it works perfectly. This camera has a slot for an SD card and the ability to add sound. The video and recording is clear, the low light, night time is very good as well. Very wide focal range with distortion as expect at the viewing edge.
