My shelves are smaller (thinner) than 1" and these did not work even though the description says it would be good for anything under 1". The dividers were wobbly because the part that slides onto the shelves were too loose. It would work if the stack of clothes never got too short because they could support the divider from falling over but since clothes are meant to be worn, the stack inevitably does get smaller. They will probably work if the shelves were the 1" thickness needed.

The dividers would do their job a lot better if there was a lip on the wire shelf in my closet. Unfortunately, I didn't know that beforehand. If you're buying this, check for the lip so it has something to grip, otherwise you'll need to put a piece of wood or something similar as a shim to keep it in place.

Very nice and God for organizing clothes on a shelf. Not so sturdy, however, so you have to be a bit careful. This, however may be due to the tickness/thinness of the shelf. Overall, I love them.

I bought these for my closet. My apartment came with those white wire shelves, that are supposed to go perfectly with these dividers. Unfortunately, they do nothing but constantly collapse, no matter how securely I attach them. It's caused more annoyance honestly. Every time I reach for something that's confined within the dividers, the dividers just fall off. Too late to return them so trying to make the very best of them, but they are not a good fit for me.

Made my fiancé happy because I was able to stack my hoard of Coach purses to give him more space on the closet shelf. Also great that banged up boxes are available for a lesser price.

I am using these on some built in wooden shelves in my closet. The shelves are slightly too thin for the dividers to fit snugly, but I used some wooden strips under the dividers and now they are great. My closet is much more organized now. I like that these dividers are a bit longer than some.

These shelf dividers need a very solid “lip” on the shelf to stay put and sturdy, I ended up having to roll a sheet on the edge of my shelf to get them to latch on properly and stay put. Because of the additional hassle, plus the fact that they still lean over to the side, and the fact that they were not that cheap, led me to rate this product 3 stars. I didn’t give it less than 3 stars because it still works after some creative adjustments, and the material it’s made of is somewhat on the thicker side than the super thin/plastic ones I’ve seen out there.

Worked great. Very sturdy. Easy to use.
