The media could not be loaded. This owl call worked amazingly in my first attempt. It’s easy to use and produces a sufficiently loud sound. It’s made of good plastic material and is about the size of a used cardboard toilet paper roll.My experience: I waited until dusk and heard 2 owls about 300-400 yds away in the woods. I used the call to talk to them and I didn’t get a response at first. I didn’t think much of it and once the sun disappeared I was outside minding my business burning some wood in my fire pit and heard an owl start hooting about 30-40 yds away from me. I broke out my owl hooter call and gave it a “who cooks for you, who cooks for y’allll.” Next thing, I hear a stick fall from the top of the tree next to me and knew it was the owl that just flew in. So I hit the call again and he responded right above me in the top of the tree within a few feet of me. AWESOME CALL!!

I ended up with over 8 owls on my property, one got a little too friendly and would sit in the tree outside my front door. 10/10 would recommend.

This product is easy to use and makes a variety of realistic owl calls. You can alteer your volume without affecting tone. Wish it were a bit smaller but thats the only knock on it. I would highly reccomend this product.

It works, I’ve heard better I’ve heard worse.

Well, the first hooter we bought was actually a turkey call, so wasn't too optimistic about this one. However, this mofo works like a freaking charm and us super easy to use. We were setting on the front porch drinking some "Porch Swings" (Makers Mark and Peach Tea) and calling owls. Why not, right? Well, lo and behold, 15 minutes later we had a BARRED OWL in a tree talking to us literally 15 feet from the porch. (See the pic - Sorry so grainy the wifey took spotlighting and picture taking at same time) We literally hooted back and forth with him for several minutes. Then, he flew off to the near distance and there were several of them talking back and forth with us. Pretty cool actually, we were very surprised and impressed. Anyone looking to hoot back and forth with owls should definitely give it a shot whether you believe it will work or not.

Just got it today. I had gotten 2 different ones The 1rst was primos power owl. It sounded like a duck call and not bad at that. I got my hooter with not how toes but it don't need any. Didn't even read the back just got it out and blew and there it was an owl. It does have 3 pitches all good. Search owl turkey calling and learn patterns of owl. Ya need ta learn that just like deer calling. I know there are calls out there but they have 2-3 holes in the end and in the pics they don't show that end only the blow. My duck call only has 1. Yes I am very happy that I didn't waste my money again. In short my 3yr old grand daughter can make it work. If I brake or loose I will buy again. I have had it a week now and went outside this morning and heard a owl about 1/2 mi. away. Thought what the heck. Got the hooter and did 3 who cooks for you no answer. did a who cooks for you all and waited 3min. and I got a whole different hoot than before. We talked back and forth 5min. and I stopped than you should have heard him. This thing really works all ya do is blow on it. You have to go on line and find out the patterns. Same with my box call. I got a mouth call also and was lucky enough to get a chirp. On line videos got me close. This is my 1rst time turkey hunting with a young friend that will make sure I get back and am so excited. I am retired and old so this is a treat.

Exactly as described an so easy to use. Sound just like a Barred Owl. We even were able to call one closer to use. Highly recommended.

Wonderful! I got up early this morning and went for a walk in a heavily wooded area near me where I've seen plenty of large birds. I gave one call about every five minutes. 15 minutes into my walk, a beautiful barred owl startled me as it landed in a tree about 10 feet in front of me, where it started to investigate this strange-looking owl. After about 5 minutes, it grew bored with me, but what a thrill! Great for birding!

Sounds good. Easy to use. Haven't got any hoot backs as of yet but only used 2 times.
