Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These are great! At first I thought they were a bit dark and not bright enough compared with the last regular bulbs. Now my eyes are used to the amount of light and I like these better. People comment on how they look like gaslamp lights or flickering candles. A few people asked where to get them and I said look on Amazon. The vibe I’m going for is like a fairy tale house and these help me achieve that idea.

They would look look a little strange if viewed up close or in an un-obscured lamp fixture. I am really satisfied with these bulbs. Each one of these lamps has 3 bulbs installed which may be a little overwhelming, so I am going to play with reducing the count to give more of a custom flame appearance.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I really like how these look at night. From a distance, they look lifelike. They don't produce much light, much like a real lantern flame. For security reasons, I might have to go back to a regular light bulb.

We put these in our glass lanterns at the front entrance to our home. They look like candles flickering beautifully. We have only had them for three weeks so I am not comfortable answering the question about longevity - but otherwise we are thrilled with our purchase!

I love the choices you have of steady light, blinking light fast or blinking slow; not sure about longevity yet love the look in my out door porch lanterns .

Pattern is not randomized enough and it flickers too quickly. This could be good on their second or third version, but it’s too synced up. If you use four bulbs they all flicker at the same time, which makes it look fake. To get around it: I put two bulbs in and moved them to the breathe mode and then put in the other two which were on flicker. When half are on breathe and the other half inmate on flicker, they look a little more believable. I must admit that they flicker too much like a torch and not enough like a candle.

I used these in 5 hanging lanterns around my Lanai/patio, for a flickering candle light effect. They are perfect! I put a frosted plastic paper around the inside of the lantern which looks like a pillar candle, so you can't see the actual bulb. They look great, are bright enough for what I wanted, LED, and are economical. Win, WIN!1 yr update: I’ve had these lights for two summers now and they are still going strong. Only one has burned out so far. I get compliments about these, “they look like the lanterns used at the pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland ride.” That was just the effect I was going for. Hooray! I would definitely buy them again.
