MASS Surround Sound Speaker System, Midnight Black (220-230V)

The product is brilliant, I have paired this speaker package with my Denon 1700H,The clarity of the sound is amazing, very detailed, expansive and warm sounding a great speaker package from Monitor Audio,Watching films etc, The speakers reveal details in the Audio mix that I never realised, existed before.I just need to install a set of Atmos Speakers and the set up will be complete.

For quite some time I had been looking into 'starter pack' surround sounds. I had been scouting the web for elegant, yet powerful surrounds, and always came back to this MASS system. I had heard the Radius 90 of monitor audio in action and was blown away by the sound quality Monitor Audio is able to deliver, so i knew I had to buy something of their products. I used to own a B&W system and was very pleased with it, but Monitor Audio (in my opinion) is a class higher.The MASS system is easy to set-up, though you need to buy the MASM wall mounts seperately, and looks really stylish. The speakers might seem small in the pictures, but they are actually 13cm high and pack quite a weight for their size, so that speaks for its quality. I had read that the woofer might be a tad underpowered, but I can contradict that.Be sure to buy an amplifier that can provide enough power per channel, because you want to get everything you can out of this system, believe me. I use a Denon AVR-X2600. Also, you need a dedicated subwoofer cable to connect the woofer to the amplifier.Overall the system delivers both in depth and clarity. For it's size, the sound-stage is amazing and you can feel yourself being sucked in to the sound by the quality of this surround package. In my opinion, this is more than just a 'starter pack'. So if you don't have the capabilities of buying a full-blown surround of thousands of euro's/pounds, this might be the one you are looking for.

Need to return. Need amplifier!

So I’ve ran these for approx 3-4 years as the 5.1 system replacing a Bose system and it blew it out the water. Then this summer however decided I wanted atmos with these speakers in an 5.1.4 config by buying 4 extra channels of the mass separately and WOW! Mind blowingly good and literally you don’t realise how more cinema like content (films, gaming and music) becomes once you add more channels.So be it the standard 5.1 or if you want to add more channels later to this set, this is amazingly good value for the quality you get!Side note too, if you do go for Atmos, atmos Music is incredibly superb from an Apple TV.

Didn’t buy off Amazon but have to say, coupled up with my Denon x3700h, these speakers sound amazing, really give a punch and great movie experience. I’ve also coupled up some Pyle ceiling speakers with them from Amazon that are a bargain. The whole experience is well worth it.

I didn't order from Amazon but I have owned this speaker system for about a month now. It sounds amazing. I am powering them with a Denon x3700h receiver. Bought as a bundle with the receiver. Movies from netflix, disney plus etc are crisp, clear and big sounding, the sub provides a decent punch and rumble without sounding flabby. Even programs from sky plus sound great (HD that is, non 5.1 content from SD channels are just ok). Music also sounds great. I am going to eventually get four more of the satellite speakers to create a 5.1.4 atmos setup.
