Casio G-shock "G-lide Watch GLX-5600-1J

Really good- looking watch. The shininess looks more like a high-quality PVD coating. VERY comfortable strap. NOT STIFF. I set up the automatic backlight which I love, and the color looks great on the screen. The color on the tide graph really adds a nice visual. Good size like a regular 5600 series, so it is not bulky. Screen is very legible. Very good price, and very good seller. Got here fast, and in perfect brand- new condition.

This watch is beautiful! You will need a UTC time chart to set it properly, but that's nothing Google can't fix. The only other thing I had to look up how to change was how to toggle between military and standard time (the instructions are in Japanese since this is an import.) In order to do that just press the search button. I highly recommend it!

I originally had this watch back from 2014 to 2019. It last 5 years with no battery swap from Nordstrom. Now will see if this watch from this seller will last as long. I am pretty sure it will, looks like it may have come from Japan because the instructions were in Japanese. However a quick google search and you can find the English version. Very happy I got my old gshock back.

I'm not sure why, but the only instruction booklet included with the watch was in Japanese or Chinese. Not helpful.The watch works just fine.

Quality is as advertised. G-Shock is a well established company. Expect a durable watch that will last. If you have any problems contact G-Shock or Amazon, I'm sure your problem will be resolved, with proper communication.

I’m a big fan of the gloss finish compared to the matte finish on a few of my other G-Shock watches. It’s not enormous either like other watches from this brand, so if you’re like me with smaller wrists, it’s perfect. Moon and tide settings were a bit tricky but a quick google search with the model number brings up dozens of YouTube videos. Definitely recommend this watch!

The product did show up and it was what I expected, but it's getting 2 stars.Minus 1 star for being late (even by one day - it was going to be a gift, now it's mine).Minus 2 stars for not mentioning the customs duty or providing the ability to pay for duty. Had to pay it on this end, which cost extra due to shipper's fee.

Esse Relógio Casio, modelo G-Shock é muito bonito, super funcional e vem com a tábua de maré e fases da lua. Tem cinco alarmes e sinal horário. É tanta função que ainda estou aprendendo a manusea-lo. Super recomendado!!!

El G-Shock Lide, tiene muchas características favorables que rescata del DW-5600 y nuevas, además del parecido físico. Es ligero, delgado, ideal para el trabajo diario. La programación de las alarmas se puede definir una fecha, algo poco común en los nuevos G-Shock. Algo que no me gustó es que en el Temporizador o Cronometro pierdes de vista la hora actual, cosa que no pasa con la pantalla de un DW-5600. El Temporizador no se puede configurar por segundos, solo por minutos y horas, cosa que si hace un DW-5600. Un punto favorable es que cambiar los números puedes ir adelante o atrás, en los DW-5600 solo puedes ir adelante, lo que te hace tardado cambiar algunos parámetros. Tiene 3 alarmas, pueden sonar con flash. Te da la posición de la luna, si sabes correctamente interpretar esto sabrás cuando va llover, las mareas, cuando es buen momento para pescar o surfear. Me recuerda a mi Casio AW-82, que también da la posición de la fase lunar. Y eso es todo, los materiales son buenos, agradable a la vista, de lectura fácil, resistente.
