We bought 10 lbs of this turmeric root for juicing purposes. We use it in a health tonic that we prepare for ourselves on a weekly basis. The turmeric arrived within 2-days and was extremely fresh. It also produced far more juice than we have ever yielded before.

Fresh turmeric, at the wholesale price! You need to put in the fridge soon you’d receive it, and make soon preparation. It doesn’t last long in the fridge also, maybe in the freezer.

Great value, delivered on time! A good number of larger roots was appreciated. Order was a few ounces shy of 5 pounds, but still more than I actually need. Nice job overall. The amount I cut away filled less than a thimble.

Purchased this tumeric twice this year. First 1 lb and then 5 lb. Both were really fresh, and had not mold. It took me about a month to use it all. Kept it in the cupboard, and it is still in pretty good shape, only a few small roots have shrunken, but I could still throw them in the blender.The only thing that worries me is that even when soaked in water for a couple of days these won't sprout. And so I wonder what they were treated with to prevent growth so persistently. They do have eyes but the eyes don't grow like they usually do. I was told that such treatment should wash off when soaked for a day or three it it's natural, but these really don't even attempt to sprout. Otherwise a pretty happy purchase.

These rhizomes were beautiful. Large, firm, and fresh. Planted several and dried the rest to grind into powder. So very happy with this purchase.

I use it for many things

There is only one store that sells fresh TUMERIC in my area. Bc of Covid it closed, but I was glad to find this. Looks so fresh, good amount and good size. I am pleasantly surprised. I only gave 4* because I haven’t tried it yet. But for those who are looking for a good immune system builder. Blend the TUMERIC, juice a couple lemons or an orange, can also slice the lemon or orange, cut up some garlic and boil. Drain and in a teacup you can add agave or honey for taste. You can put in a plastic container and store in the fridge to drink all week.

I've been buying turmeric for some time now. I put it in my daily drinks and it has helped tremendously with my overall health. I had to make this review because I saw someone post a one star review with a photo of turmeric covered in soil. First of all, the stuff is grown in the ground.... You need to wash it. Second, this stuff has an immense shelf life. If stored properly, it will actually start to regrow itself. Crazy isn't it? With that being said, it's very difficult for turmeric to spoil. And when it does, it becomes moldy. It does not look like that one photo the guy posted, claiming the turmeric is unfresh. I have absolutely no connection to this seller besides the purchases I've made from them. Read my other reviews. Just felt like I had to chime in regarding freshness.

WOW! Ordered on August 24, delivered on August 27! I read a lot of complaints about mould etc but out of 5 lbs I cut off a total of around 5 cm of dried out root. I ordered this to cook with and make smoothies, not to grow, which is what this product is for. I suggest that those who want to grow turmeric purchase from a seed/garden supply company or look out for fresh organic turmeric in a grocery store. At this stage in our COVID-19 fiasco turmeric is virtually impossible for grocery stores to source, so take advantage of this great supplier at an incredible price.

Excellent customer service, a pleasure to do business with. Shipping raw tumeric in winter requires additional care and packing. Worked with this supplier and the end result was perfect. Highly recommended. Will definitely purchase again.

The product was frozen when it arrived rendering it useless.
