Culina12" Tri-Ply Frying Pan, 18/10 Stainless Steel

I was so excited to find this stainless pan at a reasonable price with very, very few critical reviews, most of which related to the pan not being "non stick". Indeed, food tends to stick to the bottom, if you don't use enough oil and fat. I didn't expect anything else for going Teflon free. However, after a good soak in soapy water the brown residue typically comes right off. That is not my issue. The pan looks very nice, is large and I like the extra handle and the lid. Used it the same day it arrived, set it on the electric cooktop with some oil and cooked some chicken breast at medium heat. Right during this very first use the bottom developed a small bump (not during the cool down but earlier) so now it doesn't sit flush on the glass top anymore but wobbles, doesn't make good contact for heat transfer and the oil run's to one side. Didn't expect that at all from the reviews posted here, so I'm disappointed to have a warped frying pan after one use. Will check for a heavy bottom frying pan next

This is a gorgeous pan, and cooks anything you put in it just beautifully. It heats evenly, and it cleans up wonderfully, especially if you deglaze. The handle stays nice and cool, and I am grateful for the second handle on the opposite side for those dishes that get a bit heavy. I find I use this pan quite often for dishes that in the past I had used a non-stick pan to execute. I will never go back, I swear. Highly recommend this gorgeous pan, especially if you can grab it at a great price like I did.

Wonderful for frying meats. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. Her only complaint was the lid is not in the shape of a dome. So I ended up giving her one of my lids, from another pan I had.

It is not as deep as the pic suggested and it can be difficult to scrub stains out of it, but this is a good solid pan.

I was very excited to get this pan, thinking that it would be better than a teflon-coated one or the new ceramic pans. I have to say that it hasbeen a disappointment. The pan does not heat evenly and is difficult to clean -- must use steel wool in order to get the pan clean.Not what I was hoping for.

I've been trying to get rid of nonstick pans due to the potential toxic release they can have. I'd been searching and searching for what pan to get. I settled on this 12" Culina. It's been great and and I only need a small amount of oil or butter for the pan. I've cooked eggs, omelets, and pancakes. The clean up is easy with warm water, dawn soap and a dish rag. Super Pleased.

Very nice skillet, I bought it as a Christmas present for my mother in law and she loves it.I chose it over other big name brands because it came with a matching lid. This thing is huge, and you'll love it.

Bought to use for camping, good solid product but verry heavy, will use for the house.
