AmetekLamb Vacuum Blower / Motor 120 Volts 115923

Picture shows a label saying Made in USA, but the one they sent says Assembled in Mexico. I would have went with a cheaper supplier if the picture had been accurate.Not well protected in the packaging - just wrapped in brown packaging paper inside a cardboard box.The motor was dropped at some point, damaging the insulation on one of the leads. Fortunately, I was able to remove the damaged part when I spliced in the old connections.I swapped over the thermal cutoff switch from the old motor and everything seems to be working fine after reassembly.

I could only find old ebay listings for this part number after my aunt's vacuum started screeching and grinding and I knew it needed a motor. Google directed me a website called Platinum Vacuum which stated that this is a replacement, and I searched the part number and found it on Amazon! To their credit I should have ordered from them due to their knowledge and helpfulness with that info. Note: I did have to swap the connectors via soldering and applying heat shrink tubing.

Very happy to find this motor saved me a bunch to fix my vac instead of buying a new one

The motor came very quick and was an easy swap. Clip two wire and connect to the wires from the new motor. My 15 year old vaccum works like it did when it was new.

The motor was an exact fit for my Miele vacuum. Some simple wire crimping was needed to splice into the existing wiring (I didn't have spare matching lugs). Work great now!
