These Are HEAVY and Sturdy!!!
I have two umbrellas that are free-standing, next to two lounge chairs on the deck. They were in the standard 'molded' type of bases you get for most umbrellas. Because they're free-standing and not in a patio table, even the slightest of breeze knocked them both over.So I looked into sturdier ones and found these...and holy heck, these are HEAVY!!! I don't thin these things are going to budge or flinch, even in a hurricane. :DI ordered two smaller ones to replace similar bases I have in patio tables, because they've been pulled-up or dragged in a breeze.I'm really stoked at how heavy and sturdy these things are. Be prepared to struggle with them a bit, because they really are heavy, but that's a good thing!I think if there's ever a crazy storm or hurricane coming through, I won't bother moving these on their wheels and will just remove the umbrella as a safety measure.Otherwise, I can't see these umbrellas ever falling over again!

Well made and heavy!
This thing is truly heavy. Perfect for my 11ft. umbrella. 4 stars for maneuvering, just because it's that heavy. It's hard to get your fingers under it in order to lift it, so make sure you put it in the right spot before you set it down. What's best about it is that it has a low profile so it's width isn't a problem, not creating a tripping hazard. How long the powder coating holds up remains to be seen, but I figure if I have to sand it and repaint it, that isn't a big deal.

Great stand with only one small issue.
This stand is very good for the price. The base plate is made of steel and it is powder coated. The stand seems like it will hold up.Because of it's shape and the placement of the wheels it is a little difficult to roll around. On a rough surface this would be even more difficult. But the wheels on it are better than nothing. The stand comes with 2 diameter umbrella neck holders, so you can attach the proper sized one to the base. It's definitely heavy. I placed a 9 foot diameter umbrella in the stand and on windy days, with the umbrella open, it hasn't tipped over. This stand was well worth the price I paid for it.

Finally, an umbrella stand that won'd blow over
This is a very well designed umbrella stand. It's basically a thick plate of steel, with 2 wheels, a handle and umbrella mount. It's not the easiest to move around, and picking it off a flat surface can be very difficult. But, it will not blow over, isn't bulky, and it can easily be walked over or sat around. You would have to make sure a table sat over it without issue. We have patio couch furniture, so it's not an issue for our set up.

Holy crow! This thing means BUSINESS.
I swear, this thing weighs a metric butt ton. I sure won't be moving it very far on my own. The wheels do allow for you to position it, but plan on two people to move it any distance. It is SOLID, and remarkably low-profile, and comes with two different sized pole holders plus a hefty allen wrench. It takes about two minutes to assemble. I'll still be putting the umbrella down if it's windy, but this is about the best stand I've seen for large umbrellas.

Quality control lacking
It is very heavy and very stable, however the smaller anchor tube's threads are offset badly from where they should be. So, when the bolt is screwed into the anchor tube through the base to secure it, the tube ends up angled severely instead of pointing straight up skyward as it should be. You can see how crooked it is from the attached photos. Not sure if this unit was bent by the original purchaser (perhaps when grabbing it while trying to move the base) and then returned/repackaged before we bought it or if it was just manufactured incorrectly. We are going to contact Amazon to get a new narrow anchor tube. If the situation can't be resolved this way then it is unfortunately going to cost Amazon and/or the manufacturer a whole bunch of shipping fees when we send it back.Edit: Seller would/could not replace the poorly manufactured smaller diameter base tube, so it is going back. What a waste of shipping $$, since this thing is so heavy. D for quality. Will try another brand next time.

Quality Strong Umbrella Stand
If you need a quality, strong, stay in one place Umbrella stand the wind just can't easily move this is the one. Great buy I'm happy with. It's heavy so initially moving it in the box takes a little strength, the wheels work once set up and in place to move around the deck.

Do not buy if you plan on moving them around
Very sturdy, but it is impossible to move. It lays flat and has a space cut out for your hand, but if it is laying flat it is impossible to get your hand under it to lift. I had to take to a welding shop to have a handle welded on the base so I could actually pick it up to move. Would not recommend.
