The media could not be loaded. This is my favorite curling iron I’ve ever used. I’ve had the 1inch for years and decided to get this 1.25inch one as well. Both sizes are amazing! I have really long hair, and this xl barrel cuts down my styling time a lot! I like that I can control the heat setting, it heats up super quick, and will turn off on its own after a while - which is important if you are always forgetting to unplug things like me! Seriously, you will love this curling iron!

I have purchased this curling iron Because I have long hair and it’s hard to curl with regular curling irons. What makes this barrel special? Is it extra long hair and curls hair with ease without any kinks.

I have long hair and this worked absolutely fantastic. In fact it was the best curling iron I ever had. I used it about 2 times a week for my long hair and almost daily just for my bangs. I bought it in November and now it’s March and it won’t get hot enough anymore to do anything. I can even leave my hand on it for an extended amount of time without getting burned. I’m very disappointed because it didn’t last long and now I have to purchase yet another one. I am not going with this brand again. I expected better quality and longevity for the price.

This curling iron is AMAZING!I use this on my young daughter’s long hair. Her hair is below her waist.The super long barrel allows for a lot of hair to be curled at once, cutting down on curling time!I also love that it heats up fast and the on/off switch is easy to operate, but is in a good location so you do not accidentally keep turning it off while curling!Best curling iron I have owned!

First, these curling irons works really well! I have the XL 1" (for springier curls) and the XL 1.25" (for softer curls). The length makes is very convenient to curl long hair. I can zip through curling my hair and best of all it holds! I frequently get compliments on how my hair turns out!The curling irons are packaged with a quick and useful tip guide, too!Also, considering I have been using curling irons for the past 40 years, I know a good deal about them. I have purchased various types and brands (in various price ranges) and find Mr. Big to be my absolute favorite! (I have a drawer-full of other brands that I will either discard or donate.)The great thing about a good curling iron is that just because the tension spring goes, does not mean you have to buy a new iron (in my experience, springs for a regularly used curling iron eventually need replacing after a year or two). When I emailed Mr. Big Customer Service ([email protected]), I have received prompt, first-hand communication from the owner. She delivered results above and beyond my expectations. Great customer service turns liking a product line into loving it!

The media could not be loaded. This is the best thing I've ever had! As someone with hair to their knees, all other irons didn't work out. This one is the only wand that is long enough to wrap about half my hair around to style it properly. I haven't had any smoke, product buildup, or a hard time controlling the temperature (the dial is small but super simple). The twisting top and bottom are super convenient! The top makes it easier to roll the wand and the chord design on the bottom allows you to curl from any angle and not worry about it bending and possibly breaking.4 stars only because recently the rubber cushion on the clamp handle has somehow moved backward. It needs a lot of pressure not too, so I can't open it all the way. I can't even push it back up so I'm stuck in this inconvenient inbetween.

This curling iron has several features worth commenting on and, in my opinion, has earned the best review possible.Foremost, I love that one of the diameter sizes available is the 1 inch barrel width, because my texture of hair needs this size to make the curls I like. This, coupled with the extra heat that you cannot get with other curling irons, makes the BEST and long lasting curls I have ever had! The curls actually last all day. The ceramic coating also contributes to how well it curls, and knowing it is less damaging to hair, I wouldn't use a curling iron without it anymore. Another nice feature is the stand that holds it up has a protective coating on it. I realize the stand is a necessary feature, but I never thought I would ever see one that didn't burn me! Thank you!! Also, you would think an extra long curling iron would be heavy, but it actually feels very light in my hand.I am someone who has trouble throwing out things, thinking "I might still use it one day." I had two curling irons I haven't used in years and finally tossed them, if that tells you anything.Lastly, I wanted to point out that my hair is about an inch above my shoulder, yet I have long layers, so I still benefit from the impressive barrel length as well. I can see why this curling iron is so ideal for women with long hair, but it appears "Mr. Big" is a time saver for even more women! I have already recommended it:-)

Must have for long hair! Really light, rotating tip helpful, makes amazing curls, great low- high heat range, cuts curling time way down. Hint: spray or pin and let your curls set if you want them to last. 11/10 👌

Doesn’t work very good, does not heat up that well

The media could not be loaded. Very bad product.... When using iron the handle becomes soft and unable to use. The metal become soft so it's impossible to open the iron.
