Not the original stuff, but still good
I used this for soldering new ends on motorcycle control cables. I've heard its not the original formula, but it works well and makes for a strong joint. Some of the cables were old, so I had to apply the flux a couple of times (heating between), so it boiled clear indicating a clean surface for soldering.

Affordable long-lasting good purchase
So far so good it's a good product considering I'm just learning how to Stained Glass for the price it's affordable and it seems to really last a long time

Tin Cloride, not recommended.
Based on the color, I assumed it was an organic flux that is not corrosive. It turns out that the liquid is based on tin chloride, which is corrosive if not thoroughly cleaned after soldering.

Excellent flux, worth the extra cost
This flux is very effective and excess dries up so quickly there almost zero risk of having a poor solder joint from excess flux. After using Rubyfluid, I won't use paste flux ever again unless the application requires it.

It may not have been the same thing since Rubyfluid was recommended to do the job
It did not work for my application for re-tin of old copper pots. It was also not labeled Rubyfluid when I received it. It may not have been the same thing since Rubyfluid was recommended to do the job.
