Book Of Questions?
Anyone who has ever read or is interested in reading about alternative theories on ancient religions, sciences, mathematics, archeology, geology and mankind's origins MUST HAVE THIS BOOK! The author presents in this book a cornucopia of writers with different ideas about a multitude of subjects and they don't all concur either! I have read and researched countless other books along these lines of thought the last five years since my retirement but have never read such a well-prepared book such as this! I like the way he formatted the divisions in this book and placed some paragraphs in bold print---these are the concepts he deemed important to recall. I found the interview method refreshing with respect to different authors like Graham Hancock---good method to convey some writer's concepts. There is information contained within this book that I have never seen in print---complete with documentation to prove their speculative theories from various resources. Some of these authors' works have been around awhile like Graham Hancock, David Hatcher Childress, and Christopher Dunn, Erick von Dankiken; ET.AL and will be familiar to you but some articles by authors in this books put a new spin on historical concepts as well as different prospective or inventions like about ancient scientific instruments by author--William R.Corliss.One could best describe this book as book that allows one to do some "critical thinking" about ancient religions, sciences, and our very ancient pre-history---lots of references to other books in the RESOURCE section as well as a short bio of the contributing writers. The last division of this book is titled "MODERN EXPLORATION, ANAOMALIES AND COVERUPS" ---I found this very interesting and informative and it rang true in many respects--particular Will Harts'--Archaeology Cover-Ups: A Plan to Control History? Another article that was articulated very well was by Dr.Troy Lovata-"Shovel Bum-A life Archaeology! In this he described the trails and tribulation that the actual "diggers" must endure and the final report that is sometimes white-washed by the establishment in the archaeology profession!I just received this book in the mail yesterday and couldn't put in down--I devoured almost the entire book in a couple of days --now I will go back and research some of the passages I highlighted for further investigation and research but at a much slower pace.All-in all for the novice or experienced consumers of alternative theories concerning mankind's history and pre historical sciences this is a good book to have in ones home library for further references and research. Personally, I agree with most of this editor' comments within this book since he doesn't come on like a know-it all and many of his comments or self-evident----anyway--- it rings true and valid based on my own empirical experiences and knowledge of the last fifty years! In conclusion, if one wanted to get more detailed accounts of pre-history by alternative views from a very articulate and knowledgeable author read `GENES, GIANTS, MONSTERS AND MEN by Dr. Joseph P. Farrell---his thesis along with his speculations will "knock your socks off". I have spent the last year researching this one book. I found most every assertion he puts forth as highly plausible as well as actuate! He has a multitude of books that those who are truly interested in connecting the dots of ancient-pre history should read! Very few authors draw my attention but his works have---WARNING---have an unabridged dictionary handy because he uses words like PhD's like to use to convey meaning---nevertheless it was most educational as well as entertaining.

Megaliths and Megamyths
Disinformation is a compendium of alternate views on ancient history, civilizations and theories based predominantly on archaeological anomolies yet unexplained or not in harmony with prevailing academic narratives. Particularly interesting are the many ancient stone works not even presently reproducible and whose prevailing explanations strain credulity. There is a strong parallel throughout to the Ancient Aliens TV series since many of the ancient anomolies are the same, yet the core genesis narrative differs. Rather than star-kin UFO intervention, cyclical growth and apocalyptic ends of pre-historical cultures are viewed as foundational. The book is interesting and well done. Especially rewarding is that often it's contributors are the actual first hand investigators and researchers providing a clearer and broader view than elsewhere. A few peripheral essays in the nether regions of new age greenistic dogma, metaphysical spookery or Nazism lore bespoil the efforts of the rest who are fruitfully extending our knowledge base through diligence and research.I do find the attacks on what is known over what is believed as too conspiracy minded. Perhaps it is so, but as more is actually proven it will become mainstream and be inculcated within the broader narrative. Speculations taken on-board too casually can result in mainstream knowledge becoming subservient to dogmatic belief. Before hard science and astrophysics, shepard's of old with wine skins in hand would have us believe of flat earths and skies filled with lions, warriors and chariots.Besides the potential changes these speculation portend are so huge, whether uffers or sinking Atlantii, that no less than a somber, careful, analytic evaluation is called for.As an aside, I would think that a thorough hyper-microscopic examination of tool markings on the surfaces of the megalithic precision fit stones could be pivotal research and a welcome addition to this book. All our techniques including lasers leave round or circular tool footprints making square cut inside depressed corners impossible. Yet there they are.So keep digging.

Should History Be Re-Written? You Be The Judge!
History should be re-written, you be the judge. A compendium of acclaimed astronomers, archaeologists, astroarchaeologists, scientists and professors write short stories about earths history. If you love the History channels, Ancient Aliens, you'll love this book. In addition, I think it's a great primer those just getting into this field of study and a great book for those skeptics as well. I bought two, one to give to a friend. Now a believer.Excellent, quick read covering many topics of the ancient world. A+++

Small Font...slow start.
Tiny print, singing to the choir. I don't need a chapter or two of criticism toward main stream archeology...which is all the beginning of the book is...tell me what you know, not what 'they' don't...and for late night reading, the print front is TINY...little...strain your eyes without your glasses small...like reading a magazine article...(2 columns as well per page). I really want to finish the book but tired of straining to see criticism...maybe it'll get better, if I get that far.

Great!
Been reading this for a little while now, lot of material to read through and digest! I do however walk away with some astonishing insight in the past and how much we still know. Wish there was some magical way to get or gather more information than currently available. This stuff makes you hunger for more. Mostly more definitive proof of the true pastand not theory that can never be proved!

An excellent reference and read!!
This book is ... strange and crazy but has a ton of info on all kinds of things - aliens creating us and our civilization, how many lost civilizations there might have been in the past, our collective amnesia, OOPA (out of place artifacts) that no one can explain or acknowledge to ANY civilization that we CURRENTLY know about, how the human history has been hidden from us and many other things.......an excellent reference and read!!

Not quite what I expected.
The title is confusing, consider: A disinformation guide should guide you to false information which is being promulgated; so it must be a catalogue of lies whereas the books are written in the style of an information guide. This is not so much a title as a disclaimer. Who wants to read a lot of lies. I suspect that there must have been some censorship from the ISBN classification system. Seriously though, the disinformation is very convincing, but maybe that's because I'm gullible.

Ce que l'on occulte!
Excellent condensé de problèmes que beaucoup se posent, face à l'inquisition des "spécialistes" qui ont tout compris, et qui défendent leur fausse réputation.

Archeology updates
Nice to be able to get some knowledge of what archeologists are finding out about, these days. Good to have different authors and then you can pick from their books just what you would be interested in knowing more about. After all, no matter, I think it concerns us all. The planet we live on is all so important to our survival as a species. We all need to contribute to make our home better if we can. Happiness is a happy home.

Okay(ish)
Not sure that the selection of articles in this book is all that it could be. They vary between instructive, banal, insightful and just plain silly. Not really worth reading if you know anything much about 'alternative' history, but it could be an okay introduction to the subject I guess.
