Do not describe this as a gender changer if it is not a gender changer. Waste of time and money ordering this.

Photos are Inaccurate
In five of the six photos the the standoff screws are depicted as having two female ends. This is what I needed, and is specifically what I bought these connectors, yet this is not what arrived. The ones sent have standard standoff screws with one male end, and one female.

Couplers have Screw/Nut not Nut/Nut
I failed to read an earlier review which reported the same problem.Most of the images (4/5) show these couplers having double-nuts.However, they are Screw/Nut.Product has been Returned.

These are not gender changers.
Straight-through male-to-female. I don't know understand the point of this product.

Great find for me
I am glad to find these Someone commented they could not see their purpose. Well while you and plug a female and male together without anything in between, it is not easy to find a way to connect the screws that are part of each connector, keeping the connection solid. With this item, plus a small 1/4 inch tall nut attached to it, you can screw both connectors together with a solid lock. Too bad they don't supply the small 1/4 in tall nut with threads that fix the jack screws on the connectors. I had some from other computer connectors.
