My Neighbor Hayao: Art Inspired by the Films of Miyazaki

Bought for a 14 year old who is obsessed with studio Ghibli and studying GCSE art. This book exceeds my expectations and is beautifully presented.There is a wide range of artists representing the films and characters in varying art styles. Although I am not familiar myself with the films and characters, I am so impressed with this book I am going to order myself a copy!!

I bought this as a gift to give to my sibling who is a fan of Miyazaki's work! It's pretty safe to say that the book was very well received!

Very nicely presented book, thick paper and good print quality, the bookmark and inside cover design is a very nice touch. Selected images are beautiful with a nice amount of variation. I would recommend for any ghibli fan!

really beautiful picture book, lots of inspiration for artists. Just note that most of the art in this book is fan art, and not by Hayao Miyazaki

Fantastic book. Ordered as a gift and loved by the birthday girl. Quality is good. Definitely worth the money.

It took forever to get here and didn’t even come on time. It is an excellent book that I ordered in May for my granddaughter’s June graduation, and it just got here…

Este libro contiene muchas ilustraciones que son fan arts de las diferentes películas de Ghibli, la calidad del papel y las ilustraciones son excelentes. Además las selección de ilustraciones es increíble, ya que muestra diferentes tipos de interpretaciones sobre las películas. Este libro se convirtió en uno de mis favoritos y siento que vale más la pena que esos libros que tienen drafts de las películas en específico. Vale totalmente la pena para los que somos fans de las obras de Hayao Miyazaki.

Ich bin ein totaler Studio Ghibli Fan und hab dieses Bildband durch Zufall gefunden. Es sind total schöne Zeichnungen und Bilder im Buch drin. Kein Must-Have, aber durchaus super sehenswert! Für mich eine Empfehlung!

I got this book because I'm in love with the art of Stacey Rozich and she has a portrait in here. (Kind of want to rip it out and frame it.)BUT, I also adore the art from My Neighbor Totoro and this book has so many fun depictions in it. I think it's an incredible concept and I like art books in general.
