Got this drive to replace a faulty one in my Dell 17" laptop. It arrived in an anti-static sealed bag, but was pretty loose in the packing box. Took me around 30 minutes to install as the hard drive has a dedicated cover on my laptop, but others I know are not so easy to get to. I had previously created a recover USB for Windows 10, so got it reinstalled ok. Note: Providing that you had a legitimate Windows installation, will not need your windows product key, as this is stored on the motherboard, so installation should be painless.

This Works Without Any Problems
i see reviews from people buying this and giving negative review saying it doesnt work, i will comfirm it works 100%, unless you know how to install a HDD properly inc: formatting then why are you even looking for one ?

Interesting paper weight
I shouldn't have been surprised that this drive would turn out to be a mistake. It was an identical drive to the one in my 2014 Lenovo (dated exactly the same as the original drive - 2013). The new drive formatted fine, but after a few minutes use became unresponsive and then unreadable. Reformatting resulted in the same outcome - worked for a few minutes and then became unreadable. After a couple more attempts it was clear that it was a dud. Makes for a vaguely useful paperweight.
