Does what it says, but sadly - not natural in ingredients/dye
For me personally, I was really just looking for soda type drinks that I can drink in the evening. For some reason, caffeine that is added in like in Coke or Dr. Pepper effects me, but I can drink a pot of coffee before bed and go right to sleep (natural, not added caffeine). So I wound up looking at multiple "relaxation drinks" and stumbled on this one. I have mixed feelings. The pros: it seems to work effectively enough, it taste okay (not the best grape soda I've ever had) but very drinkable. The cons: the size of the can, this is a personal preference, but I just don't "need" that big of a soda (16 ounces) which is actually two servings. Now some items might hold over well in the fridge, but usually not carbonated drinks - so I'd much rather have an 8 ounce can and have 24 of them vs twelve 16 oz drinks. It has various dyes - an oversight on my part but something that will most likely keep me from buying again. While I have been known to drink/eat items with dye, in general I avoid. I found out many years ago, if I went dye free long enough then I actually have a reaction to it when I reintroduce it (itching, hives, an overall general feeling of "skin crawl"). It also contains sodium benzoate - again, if I can find something comparable without it, then I'll drink/eat that item vs the one with it.I personally probably won't order these again, but overall, for those who don't have issues with any of my cons and if you like grape drinks, I would try this. I do want to mention, the first one I drank, seemed to have a twang I didn't quite care for but I have not noticed is since, so I suspect I had eaten something that just didn't go with the taste.Three stars because it did what it promised & the taste was acceptable. Two stars removed for ingredients I prefer not to have in something I'd like to drink fairly routinely. I'd be a nightly fan if the dyes and benzoate were removed.I also happened to have ordered the Berry flavored "Just Chill" drink at the same time to check it out. The ingredients are natural in that one, 12 ounce cans. The taste is fine (it has Stevia but I don't notice an overt aftertaste that many Stevia products have that is often unpleasant) the Berry flavored is not grape, but somewhat close.I think Purple Stuff actually makes me sleepy (though one can IS two servings) whereas Just Chill doesn't seem to do that - however, again, my goal was to find enjoyable, non-caffeine added drinks for a change of pace in the evening. Feeling sleepy or not feeling sleepy was not a goal either way - and I had no feelings on it if it did or didn't affect me in that fashion.

Stay Relaxed My Friends!!!
A few years back, the "Anti Energy Drink" was starting to emerge. Rock star had their version and two unknowns came to be. "Drank" and "Sippin Syrup." Sippin Syrup is still available on Amazon and I'll occasionally see Drank on here as well. This Purple Stuff Soda is closest to Drank, which was my personal favorite. Sippin Syrup, which I also purchased from Amazon recently, was too sweet. Purple Stuff is a little sweeter than I remember Drank being, but its still very good. It also does a good job of unwinding. Its basically just vitamins and herbs that you can mostly buy over the counter, but what's the fun in that?? Buy this, enjoy and relax.

Finally found again!
I loved this stuff I used to walk a half mile to a plad to get one. Then they stopped selling it I went on their website to find retailers that sold it with one day turning into a 3 hour journey with no luck and 8 stores later.Started the monthly subscription, still love it, reminds me of Shasta before they took the sugar out of it. Gave it to my both who had a lot on his plate that day and came back to me and told me thet, that was. Life saver.. He was having a hard time concentrating but after 10 minutes of drinking it to his surprised it worked and kicked in.

It Truly Does Work...worth the cost
Love this stuff. It really does work. Both my wife and I were VERY skeptical after it had been recommended by a friend. The effect it has on you is great. The anxiousness you are feeling just melts away. Kind of a strange name but it really does work, tastes great. Grape is my favorite flavor and out of the limited choice of flavors, this one is number one and the only one we drink.

Good taste
I really didn't get the relaxation of this drink except the fact that I did relax when I wanted to relax and it was either this or any other drink! ( I drank this in the middle of the day when I was busy and didn't all of a sudden want to kick back!) pretty good taste and found it goes good with a freshly grilled burger with B,L,T,M,Mus, & cheese!

Skeptical...
Very good relaxation drink. I am unsure if it actually helped me relax though or if it was just the idea of drinking a relaxation drink. The taste was worth it though. It was just the right amount of grape flavoring. It does highly compare to the Purple Relax drinks. It's worth a shot for people to try. I would definitely purchase again though.

I prefer the taste of Drank as a grape soda ...
I prefer the taste of Drank as a grape soda and it relaxes me more than Purple,Stuff. However, Purple stuff tasted...well, more purple and the cost was substantially less than Drank I bought 2 cases(12pks) of Purple Stuff as a gift for some friends who claim it relaxed them noticeably well- so I'm content with the product.
