Great storage rack
This picture shows two racks next to each other. These racks are great for storing skis. We used to have them all stuffed back in the corner now they are all accessible and can be displayed. My advice would be to prop your skis up against the wall then hang the rack about 5 inches higher. That will allow room to sweep under the longest hanging skis

Not what you think
I have new 2019 wide all mountain ski's, the only way this mount will work is if I install it about 7 feet up on the wall from the floor. My ski's slide thru the two bars until about 1/2 of an inch of the tips is above the bars. I saw the photos on line, assumed I could install the mount about eye level for me which is about 5 ft 6 inches and hang the ski's on it.As the space between the two bars is very narrow, I need to be on a stool to force the tips of the ski's in there, doesnt work to raise the ski's by hand and slide the tips into the mount. No real fix for this, just a warning to be aware if the shovel of your ski doesnt make a pretty could curve and allow the mount to work properly, you will have the same issue. Having to go get a step stool to attache and remove my ski's doesnt work for me. Will keep looking for something else.

Check location of wall studs!!
This product is meant to be anchored into wall studs. The pre-drilled holes on the ski rack are 16” apart. Important to know if you have a newer house—the studs in your walls are NOT 16” apart! They are more like 24”. Solution we came up with: put up a 2x4 that is screwed into the studs. Then hang the ski rack from the 2x4. It would be great if the rack came with mounting holes at 24” also!

Perfect to get organized!
No more piled up skis in a corner! Bought this as a gift for my partner who let's say, likes to collect skis. Between the two of us we have XC skis, tele skis, downhill, and backcountry skis. Plus poles and boots. It took us roughy 15 minutes to install, and you'll want two people to hang it, especially if it's up higher on the wall to not let skis touch the ground. Find studs or it won't hang right. The ski rack itself is really sturdy, heavy duty quality. Make sure you also get ski bands other wise large powder skis won't hang in the rack. We just had some thick rubber bands on hand and those worked fine to keep the skis together and not bow out. Absolutely love this rack! Would highly recommend for all the powder queens and kings out there!

Good solution to store 4 pair of skis.
This is an economical and compact way to store 4 pairs of skis. Basic set up each bracket holds 2 pairs of skis. Came with hardware but my issue was locating these together where there were wall studs to secure. I ended up using some scrap lumber and screw that into the studs and then screw the brackets through the lumber ( see picture) it’s really secure now and I had a little more flexibility in placement. I got some dollar store hooks and used those to store the poles. All set !

Good Quality, Weak Finish
This rack should be supplied with protective caps if the sharp edges on the end tips where not properly finished. No real excuse other than a lack of attention to quality control.

Sturdy and solid! I hang a pair of skis and my poles on it. Space saver!
- You will need a drill for this- You will need a stud finder to find the stud to drill in- You will need an applier or something similar to twist the screws into the drilled holes- Once you're done, you'll be very happy with the product. See attached images- Space saver for sure!- So far feels pretty sturdy and solid.

Perfect - practical - easy to put up
Just make sure you drill into something sturdy like brick, cinderblock etc. Pretty easy if you are doing this. use hammer drill with bit. Then socket wrench with right size attachment to make tight. I'm not too handy and this took maybe 10 minutes by myself. Mostly just trying to line up holes and hold up ski rack while tightening it (its heavy!).

Sturdy but scratches skis
Sturdy rack. I have hiding 4 sets of skis and poles. BUT I needed to tape material round the metal spikes to stop them scratching skis when placed in.

Holds skis and poles great!
This is a solid unit. My only suggestions to improve this product would be to also have predrilled holes for studs at 24" on center as well as the 16" o.c. Some basement walls have framing at 24" o.c. A piece of wood behind will also remedy that situation but additional holes (slotted?) would be nice. Also, add a rubber coating to the metal holders. Adult skis can get pretty tight in there and I'm not sure if the tops of the skis might get a little damaged (rubbing) when hanging and getting the skis out. Those two things still won't deter me from giving this a 5 star rating.

Simple, affordable, well-made ski rack.
I am a solo skiier so I needed a rack that could hold two pairs, my downhill & nordics. This is the perfect rack for me! Easy to install with a socket wrench. My garage is unfinished so I didn't have to go searching for studs... if you have drywall, be aware that you will need to install this in a stud! I love how narrow it is. I installed a couple hooks right next to it to hold my boot bags. You could easily install 2 or 3 in a row without taking up too much wall space. If you ski downhill and nordic like me, this is a great storage option for both your pairs of skis!

Works as advertised
Ski rack is solid and holds well under the weight of 10 pairs of skis. Before purchasing I read a review saying the finish on the steel rods that hold the skis had the same finish as the finish on the base mount and can scratch skis. I found this to NOT be the case. One thing to improve the product would be to have the two predrilled holes 16"oc to better support the weight. Presently the holes are greater than 16" apart. To get around this I mounted the base onto a board which I had secured into the studs. I then screwed wood screws through both predrilled holes and fastened ski rack to board. I WOULD NOT use drywall anchors to fasten this soon-to-be weighty rack.

A very solid rack that does the job
This rack was great for organizing and protecting my ski and snowshoe collection (which previously were leaning on walls and hanging on nails). I works great. I have 5 pairs of nordic skis, snowshoes, and 4 sets of poles, and there is still room for more. It was heavy for me to install by myself, but that is because it is so sturdy. I consider this a good buy, and am pleased.
