Nice but not heavy duty
These were not as heavy as I was hoping. The knob on the side is definitely helpful in steadying the bowl when taking hot food out of the microwave. The lid is more for keeping splatter and transport spills to a minimum than actually storing food since it just sits on top and does not seal. I purchased these for our travel trailer so they should last us a little longer than if I were keeping them in the kitchen for everyday use. If you’re buying them for cereal or just serving these should fit your needs well. I will say that for the price they are a good value I just don't see them lasting through every day microwave use.

Light, easy on the joints
These are perfect for heating up food but also for use as a bowl replacement. I use these for eating cereal and other foods that would normally be served in a bowl. They are lightweight and easier to hold onto than a bowl.The lids, which do not seal the mug, are still perfect for the microwave and to use carefully in the fridge. The lids do not slide off too easily, as there is a ridge, but if it was full and bumped hard, you might have to clean up. Bonus, these stack very nicely in the fridge.I'm not much into retro colors, so the 50's colors bothered me at first, but they have grown on me. I bought this second set for our vacation home because I missed them so much.

Versatile 20 oz Microwave Bowls with Lids
These are perfect for single people or even two people. I use them for cereal, soup, and pasta dinners. Sometimes even hot chocolate or milk. These aren't the first ones I had. My other ones are getting scummy now and I wanted to get new ones.I did like the wider ones better but I didn't want white.They should make the white ones like these but in red , blue and black so any stains won't show as much. Don't put high fat things in it or it will scab the insides.

Great for Kids!
Very thin plastic but they serve the purpose of heating soup for kids. Most soup mugs are too heavy for small hands. These light weight mugs work for young children.

for kids, a lil flimsy for my liking but colorful and going to use it for my grandkids and shatterproof is where its at for the little ones!
