Darius Cosmic Collection Japanese Ver. Japan Import.

The game just arrived in my mail today and I have played a few rounds of it and I like it so far :) This port is very well put together by M2. These appear to be Arcade games of the past I believe since you have to put "quarters" in with one button and start with another; a classic MAME setup if I ever remember one. Classic shoot-em up but not a bullet hell which is what I wanted in this for my collection. This cart plays well on my American Switch with no hiccups. There wasn't even a first time download like most carts do when I first buy them. Just pop in and play! Menus are in English and Japanese, so you can find what you want with little trial and error. I found the option to stretch out the game-play to the very edges horizontaly but with the top and bottom info bezels in play, which is what I like best. There is what I call the "cheat button" which is full rapid fire, mapped to the X button. Graphics are classic reto goodness with no slo-down in hand-held or docked mode. I kinda miss the slo-down because these bullets fly at you full-speed to test your reactions! Fullscreen is here too but the sprites are smooshed looking. The music I experienced is nice, never annoying with some haunting vocals on some of the tracks. For an import shumup, I'm happy with the price I payed for it before it becomes rare, only to be found on Ebay or something. Next, I see Raiden V on the Switch coming this July to add to my collection! And darn... Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina is coming soon too.

An excellent port. No slowdown or delay. And most of the menu is in English.

This was my first introduction to the Darius games, and they are a lot of fun!Great shooter collection as all the games a just different enough to enjoy separately without becoming a blur.The other reviews are correct; Gaiden is worth the asking price.

If you love, or even just like Darius, this collection is for you.

My adult son was thrilled to get this gift and enjoys it very much.

An excellent collection to have for arcade players. Playing it handheld is just as fun too.

ダウンロード版で安く購入していましたが、ソフト版も欲しいと思い購入しました。小学生の頃、良くゲーセンで遊んでいたので、懐かしいです。ありがとうamazonさん。

当時ゲームセンターにあった3画面筐体でかなりやりこんでいました。今のフルハイビジョンテレビなら、ちょうど昔のテレビ(NTSC)3画面分の画素数なので、ゲームセンターの臨場感そのままでプレイ出来、当時の臨場感がよみがえります。他のゲーム機で移植された物ををやっていましたが、やはり、この横幅あってのダライアスです。しかし、改めてプレイしてみると、こんなに難しかった？と思ってしまうほどの難易度。オリジナルは、ステージが進んでやられてしまうと、強化した装備がリセットされてしまい、クリア難易度激上がりでしたが、このソフトはその点が改善されていて、やられても装備レベルが進んでいれば、オールリセットまではされない様になっているのでガックリ度は低減されています。でも、やっぱり難しいです。

当時の思い出を再現するため、プロジェクタ、ウーハーシートを再現してプレイしてみました。実際は☆３でしたが、当時の思い出のため４にしました。当時は緊張感のあるシューティングのイメージでしたがさすがに今の時代には合わないようで、一発死にのグラディースなどのシューティングゲームは今はもうできないですｗそれをわかったうえでトレーニングモード、パワーアップ可能、ステージ変更可能などわかってらっしゃる的な設定は良いです。ＰＳーvitaから考えてた環境設定が出来てよかったです。納得しましたー。ちなみに、格安なダライアス環境設定、参考までに。ソフト新品４０００いくら。プロジェクタ、リサイクルショップ、２５００くらい。ウーハーはリサイクルショップ１０００円、自分みたいな４０代世代ゲーム好きの人は是非、一見してみてほしいものです。
