NcSTAR Vism Backpack

For the price, it's not bad.Small enough to lug around most every day things. I wouldn't use this as a 'bug out' bag. too small.Inside the material is a bit 'worn' looking.Build quality isnt too bad. Some of the straps seem a little 'unnecessary'I cut some of them off.I WISH the straps had velcro to hold them in place, or at least elastic like most backpacks have.I wouldn't buy another though.

This backpack is amazing. I am only 5 foot so I was worried about it being too big for me but it wasn't. It was the perfect size for me to fit all of my books and supplies but yet not be too overbearing. I also have bad back problems and needed a backpack I could carry with me pretty much every where that wouldn't make me hurt. This book bag has all kinds of straps that make it easy to carry without hurting yourself. I would highly recommend buying the book bag if you are looking for a smaller bag.

It's a good deal for the pack. The zippers and paracord cinches are cheap, and break easily. I have one in a foliage green and another in gray. The gray one is fine, the foliage one is pretty worse for wear. To let you know, we use this as all-day packs for airsoft ops where we need to carry additional kit on us.

*UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW* This pack definitely is showing its true quality now. There is a split at one of the seams where there isn't even tension/weight being supported. One of the D-rings on the straps is coming loose- the stitching is simply coming undone, even though I haven't used the D-rings. Attached pictures. I LOVE this pack because of the compact size, the side and front MOLLE webbing, and the large velcro patch area, but this is being returned and my search will continue. Downgraded to 1 star because, no matter how great the design, it's junk if it falls apart in 2 weeks from normal use...(Original review)I give it 4 stars for design, size, and functionality. While the internal "organizer" mesh pouches leave a lot to be desired, the pack's versatility overall is excellent. After reading reviews about other users' shoulder straps tearing, I put a small amount of epoxy on the inside corners of mine, hoping to eliminate that failure point. For the record, I definitely DO see how they could start tearing at those points, which is why I took precautionary measures. When you gram this to toss over your shoulder, it seems that no matter how much weight is in there, ALL of the weight is on that inside corner seam of the shoulder strap that you've grabbed on to. I consider myself very well-versed in packs, and this is a problem point if not reinforced. Will update my review if anything goes wrong.Color is great- Not a super-light tan. Looks GREAT with black accessories and patches to add a bit of contrast.The initial rating would be 5 stars, but the interior "lining" is why I deducted one. The rubbery 'waterproof' membrane is susceptible to cracking/wearing out (as other reviewers have mentioned). This happens at sharp angle points, which are prevalent, especially on the small upper pouch on the front. Mine is already showing wear at the corners/edges where a lot of creasing and flexing occurs. I did NOT buy this pack expecting full waterproof capabilities, so regardless I won't be disappointed, but others might if they were hoping for that.

This is a really nice back pack. I use it as a range bag, and between all the compartments and tie downs it works really well. Seems to be built very nicely for the price range and is holding up well so far.

A good backpack for college students but not for middle schoolers. This is a backpack is small but large at the same time. The interior holds an avg. amount of things but the external is to large. To many zippers and straps for an everyday backpack.

Good quality. Good size for a small carry pack.

As I love this item! I must say don't put too much in it as the shoulder straps won't hold it. Unfortunately my strap broke on me when I put my gear in it. It was great while it lasted. Only had it 3 months and only use it every other weekend.
