BoschGT800 3/4inch Carbide Tipped Glass

Needed this drill bit to drill through porcelain ceramic tile to mount a grab bar in my elderly father’s shower. Drill bit worked fine, but I feel like it might be already worn out or dull after drilling just four holes. Make sure to use it with a hammer drill, and I also used a punch to mark the starting point for the hole.

Used this bit to drill drainage holes in multiple ceramic items to use as planters, glazed low fire as well as stoneware. Worked well and after a dozen pieces, it continues to perform well.

I ordered two bits just in case it didn't work as advertised. I was installing a tub grab bar using WingIts which require a 3/4 hole.I was drilling into basic 4x4 white ceramic tile. I had a cup of water for dipping the bit and did so about every 10 seconds to be on the safe side.It took less than two minutes per hole and the bit worked perfectly. I drilled 4 holes and the bit was still as sharp as when I began. No need for the second bit.I would recommend this bit to anyone needing to drill multiple holes through ceramic tile.

I needed to drill holes through ceramic floor tiles and the backer board under it. Turned the drill speed down and sprayed water as I drilled. I had no issues and ended with nice clean holes.

Cut right into the shower tile. Perfect bit for the job.

It was able to drill through the ceramic I needed it to but the tip is dull. The blade chipped in a couple of spots.

Used this bit to cut wine bottles, worked perfectly..
