I LOVE THIS CARRIER
I used this carrier with 3 of my kids and I loved everything about it. So I gave it 5 stars across the board. But I have bought this carrier for 2 other people and neither one preferred it. I think they are crazy. I thought it was so much simpler to use than the backpacky ones, more comfortable, and I would just wear it like a scarf when I put the baby down and not worry about where I would put it if someone asked to carry the baby for a while. When the kids got older I would even sometimes just use the criss cross part to help me piggy back them for a bit. I also threw it in the wash with my normal laundry no special hanging to dry. If people dont love this one, they are weird.

Stretches quickly. Size down.
I started using this carrier when my daughter was 6 weeks old because she would only sleep in my arms and I desperately wanted my hands back. I used the fit check program through the baby ktan website to learn how to wear it properly and soon my daughter was doing 2-3 long naps per day in the carrier. It was great! However, the carrier fabric stretched out VERY fast and now it is loose and I don't know how much longer I will be able to use it. I am hesitant to buy another one. I am 5"2 and about 115 pre-pregnancy (about 140 now) and I bought an xs. So my advice is to size down and expect the carrier to stretch out a lot.

Very great option & easy to use!
Let me start by saying I’m a second time mom & have tried multiple carriers. Both structured & wraps. With my son (my first) I always used a structured carrier because I never got the hang of a wrap and my son would get so fussy in the process it just wasn’t worth it. The second time around with my daughter I was more comfortable using a wrap (I have a Moby) and she much preferred it to the Ergo Carrier. My only frustration with wraps is they aren’t easy for an “on the go” lifestyle. Enter Baby k’tan. Here are what make this carrier so great:It’s FAST & simple to put on with way less fabric (which when you compare it to a standard 16’ wrap means you’re not dragging fabric that could be touching your baby’s face on the floor).I can easily put this on in the parking lot of the grocery store and get my 4 month old in it without needing any help from my husband. (Even the ergo carrier is easier with someone to buckle the back strap for you)I like that the extra fabric you wrap around has a little pouch that both stores the wrap when not in use and can be used for a small item. When I use this at my sons gymnastics I have my car keys and a pacifier in the pouch and it doesn’t get weighed down. There are two big negatives about this wrap though:My biggest negative is the sizing. I definitely needed a small to fit snuggly but I can’t imagine being able to use this wrap when my daughter is past 9 months.. I may wait for a sale and order a medium to get her more room or just switch to the structured carrier at that point. The other thing is with it needing to be a specific size for me my husband isn’t able to use this. When he wears our baby we have to opt for a different carrier. I got my wrap on sale so it’s not that bad. But if you’re paying full price, $60 for a wrap that only one parent can use for less than a year of the baby’s life seems a little high to me.The other semi negative is it just isn’t as comfortable as the Moby is. It’s not bad by any means and for the shorter spurts I typically use this wrap it’s fine. But when I’m home and doing housework with my baby in the carrier for longer than a 45 minute grocery trip my shoulders & neck start to feel strained. I think because a Moby wrap has more fabric, thicker fabric and wider fabric it just does a better job of distributing the weight ending in a much more comfortable long term experience. I also find the Ergo carrier to be more comfortable for ME for longer term (tho I feel like baby is more comfortable in a wrap)Overall I would definitely recommend this wrap & have recommended it to friends as long as they also have something like the Ergo that can be more easily adjusted for husband to wear or used for longer outings. For reference I am 5’ 7” 145 lbs and I am using a size small

Easy to use and comfortable
I hate when carriers are super complicated! This one was easy for me to learn and comfortable to use. Baby fell right to sleep while using it!

Great helpful customer service!
UPDATE 2/17/21: I contacted baby k'tan through their web site by email and they have amazing customer service. Someone was able to email me back and forth about how to make it fit better, they asked I email photos of me wearing it so they could be better assistance so I did and they were able to help me out more. There is even 1 on 1 fit checks you can schedule so someone live can help you make sure it's being worn right. The biggest tip I received though was to wash it before use! The washing and drying tightened the fabric and made this carrier feel much more comfortable on my shoulders and secure to carry my baby. I also figured out finally how I can u twist the straps so they don't dig so hard into my waist or feel awkward on my back. I have to admit it's still not the absolute best for me given my 3 month old is 15lbs+ but it does what I need now and I can work with that. Their customer service alone though is great and for that I could recommend the product.FIRST IMPRESSIONS: This carrier is a great idea! Wrap without having to wrap and tie! and I believe it does work for other women but for some reason for me.. Its not the best... I got an xs following the size chart and the worst part of this carrier for me is that it hurts my shoulders pretty bad, I keep pulling the ring down in the back to make it comfortable and of course it doesn't stay down and just slips back up only to put the pressure back onto my shoulders...by the time I take it off after 20 minutes of use I am sore. I tried the xxs just for the hell of it thinking maybe I might have sized wrong anyway and it squished my baby and me! I could barely get his legs through the carrier and couldn't see his face it was too small and too high up on my chest, his head hit right below my chin. Back to the xs size... Im 5'3" 120 lbs, my baby is 2 months old 14lbs. No kidding this thing is tight... Digs into my waist and belly.. Not comfortable at all and I've tried adjusting the straps many times it hasn't helped... I am keeping this carrier only because I am desperate for something, don't want a fabric carrier I have to tie. I hope this thing gets more comfortable somehow but I have too many doubts right now. I'm really disappointed.

Great purchase for Mom and Baby
Great product.Only thing I'd note is that I found the forward facing positions do not support a sleeping baby, which means changing positions if the baby falls asleep. But everything else is great! Baby loves it, the best sign being she usually falls asleep within minutes of being put in it :)

Easy to use but I should have sized down
Easy to use, comfortable to wear but I definitely should have sized down and gone by pre pregnancy size to keep baby snug.

Absolutely Amazing!
I brought this with vouchers I had been given. I have to say I had low expectations given the mixed reviews, but it has saved my sanity. My baby is 4 days old and wants to be held all the time. I had a C Section birth and the recovery is tough, moving myself round requires both hands and holding the baby is difficult, to say the least! So today I decided to try this after a feed as I hadn’t been able to make lunch one handed (partner exhausted and sleeping). Put the baby in, which was surprisingly easy by myself, following the pictures in the instructions, and that was it, out like a light, asleep within seconds. It’s a resounding success. I have made lunch, had a cuppa, washed up and even been to the loo whilst baby is asleep. I haven’t had to stay in one room with baby and can move around. In fact I have both hands free to write this review. It keeps baby high on my body, out of the way of my healing belly and way above my trouser line. Comfortable to wear and baby loves it. Would 100% recommend to anyone.I got the XS size, I am (pre pregnancy) size UK 8 on top and 5’3 so it was difficult to decide between the S and XS, but the size is great. It looked too small when I tried it on while pregnant but stretches and baby needs to be close and supported so this is perfect. If you are new to babywearing there are some rules you need to follow which you can look up online. If I had got the bigger size baby would be too far down on my body and not close enough to kiss, so don’t be tempted to get a bigger size before trying it with your baby. Also as the fit is snug if I were to doze off (unintentionally, and obviously NOT RECOMMENDED) I am confident that baby is secure and will not fall out.
