Works well as a lightweight curl defining gel for fine 2c hair

I’m so happy Amazon sells this product !I was in the middle of loving and hadn’t noticed I needed it . Didn’t have time to stop to go store shopping g for it and it took too to order from the company ! Love this product it holds your curl nicely until you are ready to refresh it and go out . The product last - next day I just spritz and crunch and it still holds 🥰

This stuff is amazing. I will never use anything else ever again. I have been using deva curl for nearly 15 years and I thought it was the best there was. But then my hair stylist used ouidad on my hair and I couldn’t believe how soft and hydrated it made my hair. I immediately bought this gel, the ouidad oil shampoo, and a leave in conditioner too. All are great! Though I find I don’t even need conditioner because this gel, even a tiny bit, immediately softens and smooths my hair without it. Now. I have used conditioner every. Single. Time. I showered. Without fail, no exceptions. I have super dry hair and don’t even shampoo during every shower, but I ALWAYS used conditioner. I never thought this would be possible. But it’s that good. I don’t love the price. It’s expensive. But I also don’t use as much as I have of other products. So that’s good. But it’s not cheap or even reasonable really. That’s the only bummer. Otherwise- love it!!!

Very moisturizing and saved my hair from looking like a frizzy mess. It dries stiff in spots but can easily be fixed by scrunching your hair with a towel (preferably damp) to break up that stiffness. I put it in my wet hair and let it dry halfway before putting a good mousse in as well, and it is the one thing that's stopping me from going back for another perm. I love it and it lasts. The 4 stars is for the stiffness.

This is the product I’ve been searching for. It gives me soft curls no stiffness and flexibility has a great smell too. It’s more of a liquid gel but it’s actually better cause you can saturate your hair with it so you can separate the curls. Easier works great will be buying more.

I was looking to get rid of friz.Wanted a better formation of curls. Hated other products that made your hair hard and stiff.

Love Ouidad for curly hair products. This is my most favourite lightweight gel they have. Great price/value at Amazon.ca.

I have long, course, thick curly hair. I apply wet and then dry. Gives great curl definition with soft to the touch hold.

This product may work really well for someone else. It just doesn’t have enough hold to define my curls. I will probably give it to someone who is looking for more of a beach wave kind of curl.
