LEGO Bionicle Kopaka - Master of Ice

My son loves this set ~ reasonable price on Amazon.com and of course you can't go wrong with free Prime shipping! This Bionicle is one of the "elementals" and my son was thrilled to add him to his collection and to counter his "Master of Fire." Bionicles are fun to assemble and they hold together much better than "regular" Lego. Cannot go wrong with this one ~ LOVE!

Short and simple - This set has great style and look. I think you could swap out or re-paint the gold pieces silver to match the ice theme better, but the look of this model gives the figure some weight and makes him look formidable - something earlier versions lacked. The mask harkens back to the original Bionicle set, and this set is something that I will proudly display amount my various figures and models. (Yeah, yeah! I'm a big child. Whatever, he's awesome!)I also combined the "chassis" of the Tahu model with this figure and made a sweet mecha-style build.

One of my favorite sets in the bionicle line. The ice toa have always been a favorite of mine, but seeing the original toa brought back with so much detail and new ideas gone into the sets have really made the bionicle 2015 line one of awe! I am so happy with this figure, and the masks are phenomenal!

Kopaka is pretty awesome. The parts he comes with are really nice, especially for someone like me who fell out of Lego until recently and thus doesn't have any CCBS/Hero Factory stuff. HOWEVER, It feels like Kopaka was bulked out for no reason other than to make it a $20 "large" toa set and as a result it feels a bit steep at that price. A great choice if you don't plan on buying the whole entire line, but if you are Kopaka won't be adding all too much.

The figure was missing the stickers that go on the costume so the figure looks really unfinished. The boy who I gave this to was unhappy after all the work he did to assemble....but once the missing items arrived, he was thrilled.The item said it was new...and the seller found the missing items and sent them out quickly

My son had to have this after he saw it in his monthly Lego magazine. For the most part, it was quick and easy for him to put together (he's 7). I also like that it's just the figure and not the whole set. I do wish the figure was smaller though as both of my boys tend to favor (and play with more frequently) the figures that can fit in their hands.

Bionicles are back! This was a gift for my son, a loyal Bionicle fan since his toddler years. As with all Lego sets, the pieces fit perfectly and the instructions are clear. The new styling looks awesome, while remaining true to the original series. Lego did add a gear mechanism to the arms, rotating them in opposite directions. The arms are not independently movable and the kit does not allow for assembly without the gears. This is the only flaw we found in the design and the only aspect keeping this review from a full five stars. Overall, it's still a good toy and a must for any Bionicle fan!

The box was partly squished when I received it. Other than that though, everything was good.
