It's a Shimano!
Works great for a 10 to11 speed upgrade in my case.

Great performance. Best value for money from SRAM.
SRAM Force 22 is a great groupset. Smooth and lightweight. Short cage rear derailleur weighs in at 180g, 2g more than the 178g claimed by SRAM (difference could be due to inaccuracy of my scales). Best value for money in my opinion compared to the rest of SRAM's offerings. For 1/3 the price of SRAM Red's rear derailleur, it's a great deal for what you can get that's closest to Red 22.

Easy upgrade from rival
This is a minor upgrade from rival. I am using a force 26 tooth cassette. Works ok with rival, expect minor improvement with force derailleur.

WAY better deal than SRAM Red!
Very smooth and accurate. Don’t waste money on theirs particular item in the red series, unless the finish line 🏁 pays you. This is only 30 grams heavier than SRAM Red

It allows for the 11 32T cassette
The benefit of the mid size is that you can run a 32T ring on the back. If your largest cassette ring is 28T or smaller, the short version is best. I have two bikes and have the mid size on both. One cassette has 28T with a compact crank 50/34, and the other has 32T cassette with a 52/36 crank. I can swap back wheels if there is a lot of hill climbing on a ride.

works as good as those clutch derailleurs without having to pay clutch derailleur price
Using this in place of my Sram Force 1 clutch derailleur. No need for a clutch on the road, even with a 1x setup. This has enough tension to keep the chain tight enough. Maybe if I were riding on cobbles or doing cyclocross, I'd think about a clutch derailleur but I wanted a little less drag on my chain for the road.

Shifts well
Shifts the rear cogs well, and was easy to adjust. The Force derailleur feels slightly stiffer than the the Apex derailleur it replaced, and the shifts feel incrementally crisper than before.

Shifter feels nice. I upgraded my 10speed to 11
Shifter feels nice. I upgraded my 10speed to 11. Love the smaller gaps between gears. It was delivered as expected and in tact. Great product
