Orbit58603 Hose-End 36-Inch 9-Pattern Front Trigger Wand (Colors My Vary)

This is second review on this the first one got shot down because Amazon does not like negative reviews on products this one will also get shot down shame on you

I use this wand attached to a Dramm heavy-duty shut off valve with Colorlite drinksafe hoses for my organic gardening. This wand is the best and with the valve, I have three stage water flow control. One at the house spigot, one at the valve, and the final one with the trigger. The trigger has a lock that you simply depress while releasing the rest of the trigger and it stays at that exact same pressure. With this setup I can easily water strips of grass or soil, water and mist plants whether they are in pots or in the ground without washing away my amendment or splashing all the soil out of the container. All with the flick of my thumb and index finger. No more walking back and forth to get the right pressure and it saves a lot of time and money. I've saved about $150 so far this summer, and it's only the first month of summer. My back and shoulders no longer are killing me after an hour and a half watering session. I can't say enough good things about it nor could a write all the advantages of using this wand because it would take all day and I hate writing. With how good this wand is though, I took the time to write because it is that good.

I love how sturdy it feels and I can lock it in the on position so that I don’t have to hold down the lever. Very complimentary group of spray choices.

I am a retired nursery owner (but still an active gardener) so when I ordered this wand I thought that I was ordering a wand that I could change the head to some of those that we had used in the nursery business. Initially I was disappointed when I saw what had arrived and contacted the shipper. They responded quickly and confirmed that I could not manually change the head so I decided to give it a try anyway and I’m very glad that I did. Although the water volume is somewhat reduced it turns out that this would be a very good wand for both the gardener and the nurseryman alike. I find it really handy to be able to change from a shower to a mist or to a jet with a twist of the pattern ring and the fact that you can easily lock it into the on position is another big plus.I have had numerous attachments for the end of the hose and this one is certainly a better choice for versatility than any of the others that I have tried.

I have been using this exact model for many years. They keep disappearing but I have been able to find another with a lot of searching. This is my third one in maybe 15 years. The push-button trigger plastic breaks after 5 or so years but I'm not complaining because I put in hundreds of hours of usage, mainly for watering plants. I am able to get a very gentle shower of water for seedlings or a full blast just by squeezing the trigger the slightest bit.

I bought this because I couldn’t find the one I had. I told my husband I hated that the pressure was not vet strong on the jet setting and the stream on all settings leaked at the bottom of the head. I tried tightening it but nothing helped. So glad my husband found the old in in my his tool shed. I consider this a loss of 20 bucks. Don’t buy it.

After 1 year of moderate use, it started leaking at the handle valve. Could not fix so trashed and ordered a different brand. Never get an Orbit product

Thought the head would turn on a angle, it doesn't.
