Speedball Art Products Genuine Leather Storage Case for Pencils, Markers, Pens and Art Supplies, Holds Up To 48 Standard Pencils, Antique Brown

I LOVE this case. The leather is gorgeous and feels wonderful and the stitching and zippers seem sturdy. I am using this for my Derwent Inktense and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, and right now it is holding 33 pencils rather than 48. I used some thicker pens to stretch the elastic out for a few days, it is TIGHT, right out of the box. I have only had the case for about two weeks, so I may end up storing 48 pencils in this case after I've used it for a few more weeks, but I'm not sure. Or I may remove one row of stitching, as a previous reviewer did.In all honesty, I'll probably just keep this case, use it to hold the pencils I'm currently using, and order the case for 120 to store my set of pencils.I think if you are using this for normal pencils and pens that it very well may easily hold 48 pencils and pens. I just thought I would share if anyone else is choosing this to store more substantial pencils or pens.

First, the photo that accompanies the 48-pencil Speedball Case information clearly says "Global", which I thought I was buying. I am, in the end, very happy with this case.The materials and construction of the Speedball case are almost identical to my 2 Global cases, down to the zippers and snaps (I have sewn for years, and I look closely at construction details). The elastic bands are stitched at intervals to hold 4 pencils (8 mm diameter) snugly in each section (Global cases are spaced to hold 3 per section). Both branded cases securely hold my Luminance, Polychromos, and Derwent Lightfast pencils.My only (easily resolved) disappointment when it arrived was that the leather didn't seem to have any protective finish. I applied a leather cleaner-conditioner very liberally, and buffed first with a clean cloth, then with my hands. Leather now looks and feels great. Now, I consider it a 5-Star product.

Excellent holder use it to hold 2 pencils per slot easier to insert an withdrawal that way

I opened the package to find the product sitting there without any actual product packaging and the outside looked worn and scuffed, inside was fine though.

Better than I thought... leather is soft & it is easy to take with me this arrived with speed & keeps my pencils readily available.. this product is a must..

This pencil case meets and exceeds my expectations. Each slot holds four pencils and my pencils fit quite snugly into their slots. I'm very happy with it and will definitely recommend it to others.

I like this leather pencil case, because it protects my drawing tools from breaking.

Love the case but think it could have come in a nice box instead of a hard plastic see through one.Would have looked so much nicer as its for a present .
