They were really good I loved the texture of it. They were quite spicy so I added cheese to tone it down alittle. (I’m not a weak person to spice I eat takis and hot Cheetos everyday 💀 but, this was quite spicy)

Buyer beware, the directions are not in English. I was very pleased with the quantity of rice cakes, as well as the texture, I just didn't like the flavor of the cheese sauce- it had a very cheap Alfredo taste, whereas I was expecting more of a spicy cheddar flavor. I did like the hot sauce, which came separate; I only used a little bit of it though, as it was quite spicy. I would purchase other products from this brand, just not this cheese flavor.

Love the texture and the flavor but the spice level is a bit uncomfortable. I powered through because it tastes so good. But the burn 🥵

I really REALLY tried to like Korean rice cake. After seeing multiple mukbang videos with them, they looked so appetizing. I love chewy and soft foods like mochi, tapioca boba, and gnocchi so I thought I would love these just the same. At first I tried to make them from scratch with a homemade sauce. After slaving away over the hot stove, I took a bite and was not impressed. I was quite disappointed as I really wanted to like rice cakes. Then I tried them with the fire Buldak sauce; I was again not impressed. After seeing yet another delicious looking mukbang with these chewy logs as the main dish, I decided to give them one more try by buying the Buldak carbo rice cakes. Eagerly awaiting my package to arrive, I checked Amazon religiously for the status of my order. When the fateful day dawned when I received the rice cakes, I ripped open the packaging and popped them in the microwave. I put in the cheese packet, gave it a stir, stabbed one with my fork, and put it in my mouth. I masticated the starchy food in my mouth, trying to assess my feelings about it. “I think I like it?” I said, unsure. I took the dish to my room, as I cannot fathom eating without some form of video entertainment and kept trying to convince myself I liked it. It got to a point where I was forcing myself to pick up the fork and stab another rice cake. I looked down at the bowl in despair and find that I have eaten less than half of it. I sigh as my nine dollars goes into the dumpster. I’m sure if I went to an authentic Korean restaurant, I would like them more, for the rice cakes I have eaten are probably not very authentic. However, living in rural America, dining options outside of a diner or burger shack are limited. This is in no way me trying to condemn people who enjoy this dish and those who have this dish as part of their culture. It is just simply not for me.

Doesn't look the most appetizing but I promise you it's so good!! Probably one of my favorite instant tteokbokki I'm obsessed with the spicy cheese flavor, and the texture of the rice cakes were nice and soft. I do feel that it's pretty expensive so I wouldn't buy regularly but I would definitely purchase again because it's super delicious! :)

I recently bought these after seeing a few people trying it on tiktok. It’s really good, super chewy though. My mom wasn’t a fan but I am! Added some cheese to it and it tastes great! Little pricey just for a small amount of it.

For 11+ dollars this just isn't worth it. It tasted just okay and the rice cakes were very chewy. I think the other flavors with this brand is better, this one just wasn't it for me.
