Magnum Target AR500 Steel Targets - Gongs - Silhouettes and More for Pistols and Rifles - 3/8" 1/2"

Ordered a set of these. Liked them so much I ordered a second set. Not only did the shipment get delayed by almost 5 days, when the plates arrived the hanging holes were drilled larger than the last set. So all the hardware I purchased has to be returned. Not a bad deal but considering all the headaches it could have been much better

I am reluctant to give this target 5 stars. Here's why. I have over 100 rouds of full metal jacket .308 at 100 yds and just chips the paint off. I have a full 30 round mag of .223 soft point at 100yds on this plate. .223 is eating this plate up.Ither plates I have from another manufacturer show absolutely NO WEAR from the .223 soft point at 100 yds. PMC X-TAC steel core barely scratches the other manufacturers targets. So! If your buying this plate for .223 ?? You will wear it out fairly quickly.

Product is nicer than expected - read several reviews of others, griping about cut / finish out quality. These folks (Magnum Target) did a top notch job!Nicely painted and when they had a shipping delay, the seller was prompt to alert me and take the blame that they had an equipment issue that set them behind production.Surprisingly, they shipped in a small padded envelope - which throws USPS for a loop since they expect it to be lighter than it is... made me laugh :-)

This is a scam. Low quality, not ar500 steel. 223 at 100 yards chipping and pitting the steel. Even 9mm at 15 yards is making dents in the front face. 2'' ar500!! are you kidding me? This is a scam. I wish I could get my money back.

These gongs are heavy duty. Will be using them on a build project where I don't want to replace them, ever. Edges are fairly smooth, almost no burrs, pretty much ready for a color coat and put into service. Will buy more soon.

Multiple purchases of these because I've found them easy to work with. Already primed so I give them a quick bake, put on a coat of color and they're ready to go! Really like them and they hold up well. Enjoy!

Have shot .223, 40ACP, and 9mm at these and they work great. A lot of fun to hear the pling!! We also bought the magnet target markers for painting.

Nice little gong. No complaints.Update: After one day at the rifle range and the target is showing signicant damage. Target was shot with 223 standard velocity ammo at 100 yards and is heavily pitted with large chips near the edges and hanging tabs. A little dissappointed.
