These paper dolls are gorgeous. I love them, I love the quality. Fashions are lovely. And I love that they are to be cut out with scissors rather than pre-perforated, because I fell in love with paper dolls as a little girl, and cutting the dolls and fashions out was a part of joy, a way to connect with and study them before play. I'll definitely buy other dolls from these series. Thank you to the artist!

Dolls should be popout, very difficult for children under 8 to cut out, and no way to stand them up, and too thin. Not as good as the ones from the 50s and 60s.

I bought these to donate to our local memory care facility. Many of the women there remembered playing with paper dolls. I cut them out, laminated them, and added Velcro dots to make it easier to attach the clothes to the dolls. The ladies really enjoy playing with them.

My mom was wishing she could find some paper dolls and so for Christmas we were able to brighten her day! Her and her twin also have the same names as the dolls! Thank you.

It was so fun seeing the styles of clothes for the paperdolls from the 50's....loved it.

Bought as nostalgic present and very well received

Since I bought it online, I couldn't see that the dolls are on the front and back cover - so you have to cut up the cover of the book. Generally, you'd want to retain something like a folder to keep the dolls and clothing somewhere - but you cannot since you're meant to cut it up. Also, the paper for the paper clothing is like a glossy thin paper, which just out of preference I didn't like. Further to this, it would have been much better if the book was perforated. It actually takes away from the memory of the old paper doll books. I thought it wouldn't bother me BUT it really did! The other issue is that it's an A4 sized book. Therefore, everything is smaller than the old paper school books(that I had, which were somewhere between A4 and A3), and cutting is then a REALLY painstaking - so it takes all the enjoyment out of the idea of even doing it. So, I won't be - I'd rather send this back and get a credit for the purchase. It was VERY disappointing.
